Yeah I was thinking the same thing. There is no original Zetsu because there were a ton of different kind when Obito first came into contact with them. That Zetsu was just one half of the Zetsu Madara chose to make a Black Zetsu with so those two were connected.

There is no original white zetsu there was never an original. Raikage killed a zetsu that was attached to black one and he came back. There all created from.the Mazou. And we seen they don't die unless narutos charka makes them trees again. Plus black zetsu creates them and is connected too them.

Zetsu's deaths are almost on par with Orochimaru's.. theres a good chance if he's dead, there's some sort of explanation as to how he's actually chillin like a villain.

in this case, there were and are thousands, good luck killing every last one=D
