WTF Itachi??

So basically, I just remembered something from back in part I. It was right after Itachi massacred the Uchiha and Sasuke started chasing after him. Itachi turned to Sasuke and told him to face him again after he has gained the Mangekyo. He then goes on to say that the Mangekyo can only be awakened by murdering your best friend. This is where it gets sketchy...

A total of 6 people had awakened their Mangekyo before Sasuke: Madara, Izuna, Obito, Shisui, Itachi, and Kakashi.

As far as I can tell, NONE of those 6 killed any of their best friends. Itachi and Shisui were best friends, but it was later shown that they both had Mangekyo before Shisui even contemplated suicide. Kakashi's best friend appears to be Gai, since nobody else seems to fit the bill. But Gai is still kicking after the timeskip. Likewise, Obito (after being rescued by Madara) can be assumed to have had no friends around him anymore to kill. The only ones up in the air are Madara and Izuna. If they had best friends whom they both killed, it was never shown. But either way, I seriously doubt that the two clan's leaders would even murder their best friends and not have any other Uchiha take notice.

So what the hell Itachi? Where did you get that idea? And why would you tell Sasuke he has to do something like that in the first place?

Itachi should be know as a traitor cuz thats what he planned. For mankegyo you need to have a strong emotional experence or you train it to awaken MS like Kakashi did.

itachi knew that sauske wouldent kill his best friend, thats why obito under the name tobi told him that by sauske killing him, he redeem the uchiha clan and gave/gain him a new power MS itachi was sauske best friend/closest person to him

It's not like he could say, "Sasuke in order to awaken your Mangekyo you need to go have a strong emotional experience" Sasuke can't just go out looking for a stong emotional experience.
