Well probably because Kishi wants it to be interesting. Its the same reason he said he wouldn't bring back Perfect Susano'o after he has taken it down, and why Edo Deidara doesnt spam C0. If either of these happened it would be really boring. The manga isnt made to be realistic, otherwise Ninjutsu and Genjutsu wouldnt exist and Taijutsu would be basic martial arts. Just accept it for what it is, Kishi isn't perfect and can slip up at times, but he has done an awesome job with the manga

ok we seen madara's power and ultimate susanoo, and we know he can do multiple wood clones and he has all the powers of the reningan, so basically he can clear out the battlefield at any time he wants

so why is kishsi making this fight so unrealistic and drawn out, i mean based on what he showed us madara can do, gai and kakashi should at least be dead already, they dont seem like they trying to win a war at all, all they seem to be doing is talking each other to death

madara is wasting time playing with naruto, when he could simply make 2 extra clones to kill gai and kakashi, also y dont he use reningan on them, all he doing is copying hashirama techniques, the wood dragon is impressive but shit show people why hashirama is the only one capable of defeating you, use more of ur techniques

anyways my point is based on the powers we know madara has and his invincibility as an edo tensei and his umlimited chakra, gai and kakashi shud be dead and naruto and bee should be sealed already,

that's how kishi rolls, first he overpowers a character so much to the point that he can wipe out the world with 1 move just to get the fanboys and girls a boner, and then he realises what he did was extremely dumb and now he nerfs madara and let him use 1/100000000 of what he can actually do, kishi made this mistake twice, obito and madara.

Madara is being a boss most def, but he's doing the same thing that Obito had Pain and the others do while hunting tailed beast's hosts. He can't kill Naruto and Bee which means he has to take them alive so as to not lose the 8 and 9 tails. If he went all out, unrestrained, then this would be impossible.

This is why he left Obito with Kakashi and Guy to handle, but he's so blinded by his hatred for Kakashi he forgot about Guy. Madara is a villan of epic levels, but still taking on two perfect hosts, without killing them, is going to be a challenge.

Madara's mind set is that he wants to hunt the Kyuubi and the Eight Tails. This is all a game to him.

To Madara, Naruto and Killer Bee are nothing more than sport. It's the equivalent of him hunting deer with a shotgun.

What if when Kakashi & Guy were in Naruto's Bijuu mode cloak, the chakra rejuvenated them completely? Kurama's chakra does give life.
