Madara is currently being de-powered due to plot. He has all these power up and has been soloing people nonstop, because that's all he does. Own people all day every day. So instead of spamming Rinnegan techs and Juubi-damas on Gai which we know he can do we get to see him get his ass whooped for once because plot calls for it. Plus I actually like to see him get beat, he's my favorite villain but even I was wondering how the hell can he be beat. At least Gai is making it look like he is actually beatable...

You can't control 6 bijuus and use six path Justus at the same time it would kill him.

Also, you only get the option of bijuu powers or six path Justus through the path bodies.

OT: Same reason why Madara didn't summon a meteor again, because he doesn't want to.

He is Madara and fvcking with people is what he likes to do.

He did use his six path powers to absorb Hashirama's sagemode, so that counts for something.
