the fanbase is so fickle, best not to take much notice of it. Me personally I freaking loved this chapter, likely the most techniques ever introduced in a single chapter - all of which were awesome.

i thought it was great. ive been waiting for that last panel since shippuden first started after the time skip. Finally, all 3 students of the 3 sannin used the summoning together. its a reenactment of hanzo fight with the sannins i cant wait til next chapter
