Warning, before you read, this is for the people who don't know this. So the educated do not have to read this.
Some people have been saying things like.
"What has been Kakashi been doing all this time? Playing Medical Ninja?"
When you think about it, Kakashi was wise on his decisions.
This is not for all of the Naruto Base, this is for the uneducated who didn't know, and who are just jumping to assumptions.

- Kakashi had low health, his stamina was low
- Kamui takes up a lot of chakra
- Using Kamui in the current state he was in would have injured him further or in the worst case it would have killed him
- Kakashi hasn't been in the Kamui realm for more than at the most 2 hours
- The time Kakashi has been absent has allowed him to regather his thoughts and prepare himself
