Wtf happened to rock lee?!

All the way back at the chunin exams when he vs'd Gaara he was super OP and stronger than anyone! He got nerfed soooo much. He was super fast and strong and had those gates. Now he's just a fimbly little girl One of my fave fights is still gaara vs lee! But after that lee got treated pretty averagely. They over did that fight back then making him way too strong... but it was such as great fight. I just wish they had continued making him as good as he was. Showing more speed and opened gates! Also while I'm at it... HOW THE HECK DID LEE EVEN HAVE TO COMPETE WITH NEJI? He was always training to be as good as him? Ffs... He was way stronger and faster than neji. If he took of his leg weights and opened his gates neji would be raped easy, the byakugan can't keep up with that speed and power!!

No dude, everyone in part 1 were relatively able to hold their own against each other. Part 2 just got so out of control with power ups that a lot of people look fodderized lol.

lee still a great ninja i think he proved that in the naruto series that he can be a ninja without using ninjutsu n genjutsu. caught him a break. u cant just spam gates its a double edged sword. gai is spamming doesnt care for his life at this point. given the kyuubis presence hyuubi can restore his health, which we seen him do plenty times in narutos case.

You can tell from Lee's inner monologue during the Gaara fight that Lee had never tried 5 gates against Neji, and believed (probably correctly) that 5 gates would defeat Neji. Lee is fine right now, as far as K11 go. At the moment, there isn't really time to show him doing anything, especially with Neji's death making his team not really exist. We're not even seeing action from the Edo Hokages really.

Neji was better than lee in everyday....in part 2 when everybody was advancing to Chunin Neji was the only one who was promoted to jonin and lee might not have been able to use the gates because Neji gentle fist would have plugged up all the chakra points and if lee had used the gates Neji could gets use rotation and either way there hasn't been any shinobi that has ever matched Neji hand speed and reflexes and I guarantee he could see lee while lee is using the gates because Neji doesn't have to move he has near 360 degree vision and can see everything around him sure lee would be fast but lee can't keep up the gates and Neji would slow lee down anyway because Neji emits chakra from his body around him to further aid his defense as he did when that spider guy was shooting those high speed/powered arrows...and guy forbid lee to only use the gates in dire situations any way out of all the kids in part 1 Neji was the best and lee was right there as well it just so happened both Neji and lee lost to jinchuriki for plot

Guy states to Lee. "never open the gates unless its a life or death situation or you are protect a friend" this whole 2 day fight so far has had to drain lee out.

Close range??? Neji has air palm vacuum...air palm vacuum wall, palm bottom and mountain crusher all which range from short to long and Neji defense is one of the best and the fact that he can see u when u think your being sneaky is another thing...and ten ten is 100% accuracy with whatever weapon she uses...and lee opening the gates is like whatever range he wants to fight at because once he goes into the gates u can't escape him running is out of the question and he can close the distance as fast as A, Bm Naruto, and Minato ftg

False. Kages, Akatsuki, Bee, Gaara, etc. have all been developed in exchange for characters that were more developed in part 1 like Lee.

He didn't get nerfed, everybody else just became more stronger, and as many have said earlier, he just hasn't had much screentime as well. But, knowing Lee he's probably been told to rest after fighting, which he probably hasn't done yet...
