Basic Information

Name ➟ Shayde Uchiha
Alias ➟ Aphoom-Zhah
Gender ➟ Male
D.o.B ➟ Sept. 6th, Year 786
Age ➟ Twenty Six
Clan ➟ Uchiha

Appearance ➟ Shayde is a tall, handsome man from the Uchiha Clan with a slim build and fair complexion. He has long, black, unkempt and wild hair, similar in appearance to raven's feathers. Thanks to his extensive physical training Shayde possesses a fairly muscular physique, indicative of his love for the art of Taijutsu and close quarters combat in general, however, since the fall of Chungsu thanks to the appearance of the Nine Tailed Fox, many scars now mark him as a survivor of that tragic night. Shayde's eyes are also worthy of note as his left is the common for the Uchiha Clan, onyx, while his right is as red as the blood in his veins. This also visually affects his Sharingan, inverting the color scheme for his right eye whenever his Dōjutsu is active. Finally, Shayde's entire body is covered in a series of tattoos which react to the flow of his Chakra, glowing vibrantly when is circulated through and around them.
To the untrained eye it appears as though his tattoos designs are constantly in motion, shifting from one design to the next, but in truth it's simply the result of the tattoos reacting to the flow of his Chakra, perpetually dancing across his skin. In addition to the cosmetic application, all of these tattoos act as a functional proxies for both his Summoning Contracts, and the Combat Summoner Jutsu.

Personality ➟ Due to suffering many tragic, and life shattering events early in his life, Shayde's attitude is far darker than it was in his youth. Where there was once kindness, there is now a complete lack of empathy. His caring smile; engulfed by a perpetual scowl. His quiet sadness; replaced with inconsolable grief. Outside of combat, some habits never die, as Shayde is still as cool, calm and collected individual as he ever was, and even retains some of his old "aloof" and "detached" habits. However, when things start to become hostile, this peaceful façade fades away, revealing the hollow shell of the man he used to be. Despite his rage however, Shayde is still a very intelligent individual, thanks to his heritage as a member of the Uchiha Clan. Because of this he has well developed reasoning and deduction skills, as well as their signature reaction speed, which is further enhanced by his well trained instincts and the activation of his Sharingan, make him a formidable opponent for most individuals.

History & Background Information

August - September,Year 811; Reflections

"I guess... I'm out of excuses to not be who I am."

A desire to kill... A hunger that cannot be quenched... Flashes of silver and scarlet... An overwhelming pain, and urgent desire to flee... These were the thoughts plaguing Shayde's mind as he suddenly burst to life, springing forth from a rustic, hardy bed that was not his own, in a room whose walls were composed of a dark metal, as similarly plain furnishings barely decorated the otherwise barren room. As his feet grew cold from the cold iron floor, Shayde cradled his forehead in his left hand as he tried to remember his last conscious moments, and why he felt the way he did. He recalled deciding to travel North from the Land of Fire... Feeling the first chills as a new Land's snows gently fell, tenderly kissing his face, and the nipping sensation that he couldn't help but remind him of the burdened flames he had inherited from his emotions... As he pressed further North, he found a rather large settlement known as "Hachiman's Bulwark", but as rivaling factions and Clans from the nearby Tazuma had recently clashed near their outskirts, they wouldn't entertain an outsider, no matter how capable or sincere they claimed to be. Understanding their position, but somewhat taking it personally all the same, Shayde moved on, seeking a settlement that was a little more welcoming, or at least less on-edge, or likely to be attacked during his stay. But as the days passed, not a single inhabited structure could be found, and without a decent night's rest, or a meal that didn't consist of rations, or leftovers, Shayde slowly found his right arm fidgeting more and more, a subtle, but very clear indicator of Greed's hunger boiling over... It wasn't long before the parasitic extremity was going to start chowing down on whatever it could get it's hands on; trees, snow, the very dirt beneath their feet. Nothing was off limits to a creature that seemingly reveled in the act of consumption itself. This all came to a head a just a day or two later, when the unwanted fidgeting devolved into a spontaneous transformation, and subsequent rampage, as Greed extended, latching on to the nearest foreign objects and surfaces, and began tearing through everything in it's path. Shayde was quite literally dragged along for the ride as his arm molded itself into countless shapes, twisting, writhing and pulling him from one piece of the scenery to another, devouring as it went, with very little leeway given in regards to what resistance Shayde could throw up. Shayde watched, both through his own, and Greed's eyes as it carved a path of destruction through the Iron Peninsula's wilds, that is, until "they" stopped dead in their tracks. Greed, and by extension Shayde, had picked up on some delicious, overwhelmingly alluring scent. Before they knew it, the mangled pair were off like a stampede, single-mindedly following the smell back to it's source, which turned out to be a small, but clearly inhabited camp site. Within seconds, Greed was tearing through the treeline, and barreling towards the presumed defenseless group of civilians, while Shayde did his best to pry himself from the monstrous mass, or at least delay the inevitable, but before the monstrous mass of flesh, sinew and bone could so much as touch a scrap of cloth, a silvery glint briefly flashed by Greed's vision. Before Shayde could even register a source, Greed's line of sight was slowly shifting, pulling away from one another. It wasn't entirely clear as to why at first, but soon Shayde looked up to see Greed was vertically bisected, causing a stream of blood to violently spray upwards, dousing the environment in a swathe of deep crimson. Shayde, still struggling to resist Greed's charge, registered more movement from the camp, quickly realizing that it wasn't inhabited by mere civillians, but apparently very skilled swordsmen, Samurai specifically, the kind this Land was well-known for. And despite Greed's bisection, and presumed death, Shayde knew better... It would be back up and causing havoc in a matter of seconds, as Shayde had tried countless times to cleave it from his body, more than ready to risk bleeding out just to be rid of it, but every time, it regenerated faster than he could be rid of it, adapted to the means to which he was attempting to remove it, or changed it's molecular structure to that of a metal, making it impossible to cut off with a blade alone... His last recollections before waking were of several Samurai unsheathing their blades, before disappearing in the blink of an eye, leaving Shayde, or to be more accurate, Greed and by proxy Shayde, to reel as an unfathomable pain flooded their senses as Greed's engorged form slowly broke down to a pile of minced meat and mush.

That all explained his powder keg of emotions, but a couple of questions remained, such as where he was now, and why he was still alive considering those swordsmen definitely saw him attached to Greed... At the very least, his right arm, and thus presumably by extension Greed, were intact however, so maybe the Samurai thought Shayde was merely caught by some malicious creature, and swept up in it's rampaging? The thought was hopeful, but there was a nagging sensation in the back of his head that he knew, deep down, he had been found out... It looked as though he wouldn't have to wait long to find out, as he heard footsteps slowly approach from a hallway. Looking to the opposite side of the hall, which had the same metal floors and walls, he noticed a near identically furnished room to the one he was in. Uniform rooms with basic furnishings? A building seemingly forged entirely out of metal? He couldn't be entirely sure, but between the presumed iron structure, and lack of desire for material things, it looked as though Shayde had been delivered to some kind of temple or hermitage within the Iron Peninsula. One look at the building's most common materials showed a distinct surplus of iron, or similar metal, while the humble furnishings were a clear indicator that they were for utility, rather than comfort, to which the injured Uchiha could attest, or show. That only left the kind of religion this building was potentially devoted to. Shayde was admittedly unsure about any beliefs or dogma that the Samurai had, only that they were renowned swordsmen, as he could most certainly confirm now, but beyond that, they were unknown to him. He had heard of "Bushidō", though from what little he had heard, this was more of a code of ethics, or honor, rather than a religion, and probably didn't warrant it's own place of worship. Did they pray to some God, like the universally revered Sage, or the fanatical followers of Jashin? Without much info to go off of, Shayde simply braced himself for whoever he heard approaching the room. To his surprise however, whoever they were, they walked right past him, and the room he was currently occupying. Anticlimactic to say the least, but after a few moments, more people seemed to come and go as they pleased, paying no heed to the apparent stranger in their midst. As more passed, Shayde began to notice similarities with their attire, simple robes of varying colors and and subtle changes in style, some carrying scrolls, others chatting as they walked from one side of Shayde's narrowed field of vision to the other, his distant vantage point, staring through a small doorway providing him little in the ways of purview. Occasionally Shayde would recoil and instinctively raise his guard as well armed individuals passed his room, clearly Samurai going from the appearance of their attire. Some wore similar robes to the others, while others donned sturdy plates, with vibrant colors, like reds reds, while all seemed to wield paired katana, one long and one small, sometimes ornate decorations. "Yep. Definitely Samurai..." Shayde thought to himself, eating into the stereotypes of the renowned warriors. Tired of watching people go by, Shayde slowly approached the door, less out of fear of what lay beyond that boundary, and more out of respect for the people on the other side of it. As he approached the door, he noticed some of his personal effects neatly folded and piled on the floor at the end of the bed, his shoes, jacket, etc. Despite being drenched in dried blood, they were the only clothes he had for the moment, so he reluctantly slipped the gory articles of clothing, and made his way to the boundary. As Shayde stood beneath the doorway, he drew numerous eyes, some out of curiosity, others out of an apparent disgust for the gore on his outfit, and others out of a pure form of disdain, or perhaps hate. Looking to either side of the door, Shayde noticed a pair of similarly armed individuals as the ones that have been passing, clearly either there to guard the room, or protect the people passing by it, or probably both, but Shayde wouldn't know exactly which until he made his presence known. Quietly clearing his throat before speaking with a surprisingly hoarse voice, Shayde barely managed to finish "Where-?" before one of the two presumed guards grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, and started walking, the other one following close behind. After walking down a corridor, to varying looks from the passersby, the guard casually let go of Shayde's collar, while the other gestured him to keep walking at their pace, forcefully prodding and pushing him once or twice with his hand just to be sure. As the trio walked, Shayde tried numerous times to get some form of response, verbal or otherwise, as to where he was, but with no success. Either these guys had been ordered to take him directly to someone, without so much as a word, or they were just really dedicated to the whole "silent tough guy" routine. As they reached the end of the corridor, and entered some large open vestibule, Shayde saw the first real glint of natural light since he had woke, a large doorway some couple dozen meters away from him. As Shayde calculated his odds for making a break for it without being caught, he figured he would have had a pretty decent chance of getting away if he had a straight run, but there were numerous groups of people all gathered together, some seated, seemingly in meditation, others practicing slow, methodical hand to hand combat stances and moves, so his chances were severely lowered. He potentially didn't just have his armed "escort" to outrun, so there wasn't really much point in trying, plus, for whatever reason, he was still alive, so perhaps his secret was safe, at least for the moment. If whoever these people were wanted him dead, they potentially had ample opportunity while he was unconscious, so he decided to play along, at least for the moment.

After following the lead guard for a few more minutes, eventually they arrived at no more important a room than the others they had passed. A large heavy metal door, opened just a touch, spilled a dim light from within out into the hall, while the smell of incense choked every breath the closer Shayde got to it. The guards had seemingly done their job, gesturing Shayde to enter, but not doing so themselves. With nothing to lose, Shayde acquiesced, slowly pushing the door open, revealing a lone figure sat on a simple woven rug, his legs folded over one another as he appeared to be in a meditative trance, much like the others Shayde saw in that central foyer. Taking great care not to make much noise as he approached, once he was certain his presence had been registered, Shayde stopped and simply waited, standing in this strangers room, in some unknown place of worship, afraid to interrupt whatever form of prayer or other form of meditation the figure seemed to be engrossed within, out of fear he would disrespect them. As the minutes rolled by, Shayde took the time to slowly look around the strangers room, noting a theme of a lack of personal effects, like most of the rooms he had glanced in as he was escorted here. A few more moments passed, before the silence was broken, almost startling the Uchiha, as he had unconsciously grown accustomed to the silence afforded within this place. A wizened, but still somewhat youthful voice shattered the silence that had befell the room, assuring Shayde with an understanding and welcoming tone. As Shayde began to ask what was going on, Siddhartha told him of the events he was aware of, that Greed had begun to attack a Samurai camp, but was made short work of. That wasn't where things ended however, for even as Shayde lay unconscious, the limb still lashed out. It was swiftly cut off, but grew back just as quickly, before devouring the arm that was cut off. Shayde was on the verge of unraveling and Siddhartha could tell. It only took a moment or two before Shayde took a seat, and told this complete stranger everything relating to Greed, with Siddhartha able to fill in the blanks where Shayde didn't care to divulge the truth, or didn't think to fill him in. From the chance encounter at the Library of Chungsu, to the abduction, experimentation, escape, and eventual sealing, which had worked up until the seals eventually faded a few months ago. He also went into detail about the ancillary information, such as the side effects that had been plaguing him since Greed's implantation, and were presumably derived from it, such as the shared senses, persistent hunger and ceaseless voices. How that outburst in the wilderness was a direct result of the limb's own expedited sense of starvation, as Shayde himself was relatively okay with his admittedly dwindling supplies, but Greed was never satisfied, no matter what it eats, case in point being that it carved a path of destruction through a forest, eating everything in it's path, yet didn't stop until it was literally cut to pieces. With a more clear understanding of the circumstances plaguing the young man, the monk offered to help Shayde in whatever way he could, starting with a decent meal, some new clothes unspoiled by his own blood and gore, and maybe, just maybe, a way to understand the beast that consumed and now constituted his arm.

With a full stomach and a fresh pair of robes, Shayde and Siddhartha made their way to a small, secluded section of the monastery, complete with a traditional gazebo-like structure to protect them from the elements. As the two began to meditate, Shayde began to feel familiar sensations, hearing the deafening wails of those internal screams that had been haunting him since he and Greed were first merged. The cries soon drowned out, and Shayde found himself staring into an endless sea of blood, debris and writhing, rotten corpses. The more he stared, the sicker he became, before he noticed a familiar face among the endless masses. It was the very person responsible for Shayde's predicament; Librom. As Shayde recalled that he was brutally devoured by Greed upon their meeting, he snapped himself awake, frantically gasping for air, before calming himself, and explaining what had transpired to Siddhartha. As the two ruminated over the nature of this internal space within Greed, Shayde recalled seeing one of his weapons he had misplaced in his travels, a unique Gunbai. Picturing the weapon with his mind, Shayde quickly realized that Greed was conjuring that very weapon from a mouth on his palm. As Shayde pulled the handle of the weapon out into the frigid air of the Iron Peninsula, he realized that anything Greed devoured could just as easily be "recovered", likening that space he saw to be a form of storage space, if not a visual representation of everything Greed had ever devoured. Seeing that there was actual progress being made here, Shayde allowed Greed to devour the weapon once more, reasoning it'd be safer contained within... Whatever Greed was exactly, before getting back to their meditation. Shayde spent several hours simply staring off into the void, his eyes closed, but his mind an open book. As he once more heard a cacophony of screams, Shayde simply dismissed them. He knew what lay in store for him if he were to allow them to continue. Instead, he called out to the one voice in the masses he wished to actually speak to, Greed itself.As all voices but one faded, Shayde pleaded with the lonely voice, which sounded more like a snarling beast than any form of sentient, evolved being, for anything. He started by asking a name, and although it struggled, eventually, one was given. While Shayde was blissfully unaware of reality, content to let his consciousness delve further deeper into his own psyche to communicate with Greed, back in reality, Greed had twisted his form into a writhing sheet of flesh that was slowly working it's way up to Shayde's face, no doubt in an attempt to borrow it for the purpose of communication. As it covered the right side of his face, eyes blossomed along the mass of writhing flesh, Greed, both internally and externally, stated a name with all the conviction and voices of a thousand souls;

"Rāga..."

While the name was familiar to the Monk, having some faint recollections, Shayde was startled to discover that, should it be so inclined, Greed could assume direct control over Shayde's own body, much like how, from the moment the two were fused, Shayde was typically using Greed like an arm. It gave him plenty to think about, while Siddhartha left Shayde alone, to go do some digging into exactly where he had heard that name before... That left Shayde with plenty of time to try and ingratiate himself into Otohime's good graces, though he didn't know where to start without being insincere. Finally he opted to simple do what most others were doing; better himself. Carving out a small spot for himself amongst the countless honing their physical skills, Shayde started with some light exercises, before exploding into a barrage of Renewal Taekwondo. From simple kicks and punches, to more advanced techniques, Shayde finished it off with a spectacular display, as he created a small vortex, channeled it into a small projectile, then split it apart with a rotating low to high kick; more formally known to it's practitioners as a "Recoilless Kick". Soon after he finished his rather lengthy set, Shayde was approached by a small group of young swordsmen. While at first the "lead swordsman" threw veiled insults, and Shayde responded in kind, eventually the young man, Rōresu, invited Shayde to a simple friendly spar, but when the Uchiha refused, the group surrounded him while Rōresu told him the rules, giving him no choice but to play along. As the two first clashed, the young man accused Shayde of being a demon, leading him to believe that his secret was out. But as Rōresu continued, Shayde realized the "demon" comment was in reference to his bloodline, and not some disguised comment about his arm.despite informing the young man that he was likening Shayde to a Clan, and family he had never known, but to Rōresu this didn't matter; all Uchiha were the same. As the two fought on, Shayde was slowly but surely losing ground, taking one hit after another from a wooden sword given a sharp edge, while the students constituting the circle around them poked, prodded and struck out whenever he got too close to the edge. Shayde was fighting a losing battle, and things seemingly came to an end after a failed finishing strike from the Uchiha left him open. Shayde took an especially hard hit from one of the outer swords, leaving him virtually unable to continue. Yet, despite Rōresu having him virtually dead to rights, he took time to gloat before attempting a finishing blow, but Shayde wasn't about to give up just yet... As the sword came rushing into him, it found no purchase within Shayde's body, instead the blade slid clearly through his form with no resistance, as though he were not there, and indeed, moments later, Shayde was gone, whatever after-image had been employed evaporating. Shayde was just as stunned, as he had all but resigned himself to the strike, yet his body itself disagreed, instinctively avoiding the blow, leaving an image behind to take the blow as he stood casually behind his opponent. As Rōresu became aware of his presence, and attempted another swing, again, Shayde avoided the blow without thinking about it. He wondered what was going on. Was this Greed, assuming direct control again, or something else entirely...? It didn't matter, so long as it lasted long enough to secure the win, and sure enough, within moments, Shayde had disarmed his opponent, had him pinned, and stating that it was over. Before a resignation could be given however, the fight was interrupted, with Siddhartha breaking the fight up himself. One look at Shayde and the monk knew exactly what had transpired, yet when he pressed the two for what exactly had happened, Shayde took the full blame for the incident. Sharingan a laugh at his injuries, Shayde quickly passed out, the unfortunate side effect of unintentionally pushing his body past it's natural limitations, and ignoring the slowly building loss of blood through the small wounds inflicted by his opponent. Shayde awoke in the same room again, and returned to Siddhartha, who had found the texts he was looking for. Shayde found some concrete evidence of what Greed may truly be; an ancient beast that devoured entire civilizations, and caused countless deaths over the course of millennia. Shayde, having an inkling to the degree of which he was screwed, asked what he could do. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't run, nor hide from his past, and he had no clue what to do. The elder monk told the Uchiha what he needed to hear, nothing more, nothing less. If he couldn't run or hide from it, he could only live with it. Accepting this advice, even if he wasn't entirely comfortable with it, Shayde left with words of gratitude, a smile, and encouraging words;

"Guess I can't brood for the rest of my life... I'm only half Uchiha after all.".

And with that, Shayde left Otohime, intent on reclaiming whatever he could of his former life. His first stop; The Land of Fire.

To Be Continued...

Specialties & Other Information

Uchiha Lineage: Sharingan ➟ Upon the presumed death of his family, Shayde's Sharingan awoke to the next stage in its evolution, the Mangekyō Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan allows it's user to see the general flow of Chakra around them and differentiate Chakra signatures based on their colour, break through and reverse Genjutsu of A-Rank and below, and even cast any Genjutsu simply through mutual visual contact. Additionally, the clarity and heightened perception the Mangekyō Sharingan bestows upon it's user is far greater than in it's previous stages, allowing the user to effortlessly perceive the motions and movements of their opponent, such as Hand Seals, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, etc. Combined in tandem with his high intelligence, reasoning and deduction skills, Shayde is a very astute Shinobi, capable of formulating plans for offensive, defensive and counter-attacks on the fly in an instant. The Mangekyō Sharingan also grants the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques, which tend to vary from user to user. These new eyes and techniques come at a great cost however, as extended use of the Mangekyō Sharingan will, after some time, deteriorate the user's eyesight to the point of blindness, if not outright take the user's sight with specific techniques.

Single Handseal Specialist: Fire Release ➟ Being from a Clan of Shinobi who are renowned for their Fire Release users, it comes as no surprise that Shayde is both a natural master, and an eternal student of the Fire Element. It is undoubtedly his favorite Element, and one which he commands with perfect control and overwhelming confidence. Shayde's mastery of the Fire Element allows him to perform Fire Release Jutsu with a Single Hand Seal, which is almost always the Tiger Seal, or the Seal of Confrontation.

Sovereign FlameImogen's Sorrow ➟ In addition to his natural skills with Fire Release, Shayde has also acquired a rare and unique Jutsu which takes ones emotions and overall emotional state and uses it to alter and amplify their Flames. In Shayde's case, the overwhelming grief and sorrow he has endured for years has completely consumed him, culminating in the creation of the flame Imogen's Sorrow.

(Nanatsu Shukenja Kaen) Seven Sovereign Flames
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Created by a group of Fire Style Masters who used their emotions to influence their Chakra, the Seven Sovereign Flames are not considered traditional Jutsu in the sense that the user simply gathers Chakra, adds various changes to Shape and Nature, then performs it against their opponent in Battle. Rather, they are the purest form of "Supplementary Enhancement" for all techniques that the user knows that fall under the Basic 5 Element of Fire. The user takes their skill in the manipulation of the Fire Element and combines it with their powerful, sometimes overwhelming, emotions, with the result being seven new types of Fire, each with their own special properties, all derived directly from the emotions infused into them. The Seven Masters all created their Sovereign Flames after succumbing to the repercussions of their own emotions. One was consumed with hatred and rage, and hurt the one he loved, while another gave up something precious to them, and was consumed with overwhelming grief and sadness. After their own traumatizing experiences, and eventual personal revelations, they all came to understand and accept the flaws in their own emotional states, and used their understanding of these emotions to further their skills in Fire Release, revealing their true colours as it were. The concept of emotions influencing Chakra has been referenced in the series on a few occasions. One of the best examples of this is Karin Uzumaki, a powerful Sensor-Type Ninja with a unique and extremely detailed form of Sensory perception. Using her Sensory abilities Karin once described both Naruto and Sasuke's Chakra at around the same time in the series claiming Naruto's was "bright and warm", while Sasuke's was "dark and cold", which coincided with both of their emotions during the Five Kage Summit Arc. Karin's description of the nature of both Naruto and Sasuke's Chakra supports the concept that one's Chakra is tightly interwoven with the current state of the users emotions, with this Jutsu using different emotions to directly affect and alter the user's Fire Release Chakra in unique and interesting ways.

The Seven Sovereign Flames are directly applied to one's biography, under the Specialties section as an extension of the Fire Element, thus requiring any user of this Jutsu to specialize in the Fire Element. Within this extension of their Fire Element specialty, the user must specify one of the Seven Sovereign Flames, which becomes their "personal" Sovereign Flame, which they naturally embody, allowing the user to imbue their entire Fire Release arsenal into that Sovereign Flame, each with their own unique properties (All of which are explained below). Only one user of this Jutsu can specialize in any given Sovereign Flame at a time, meaning two users cannot embody the same Flame at the same time. The Sovereign Flame that the user specializes in will always be available to the them at the start of a battle (in addition to base/ regular Fire Style), at no additional Chakra cost. Additionally, while the Sovereign Flames have their own unique properties, they are all still considered, for all intents and purposes, Fire Style Ninjutsu, and always follow the Elemental interactions and guidelines for regular Fire Style, regardless of any unique or alternative properties they possess. Finally, the effects of the Sovereign Flames scale with the Rank, size, overall power, etc of the Jutsu they are infused into, just like any regular form of Elemental Ninjutsu, with higher ranking Jutsu logically dealing more severe effects upon contact with a target, object or surface.

The Sovereign Flames themselves are as follows;

Asmodeus' Ire - Created as the result of his rage hurting one he loved, Asmodeus created this Sovereign Flame. The user must also know and understand their own anger to access this brutally crimson red fire, which is deeply rooted in all things connected with rage. Asmodeus' Ire grants one's Fire Style with the ability to barbarically consume oxygen, creating a Fire that is extremely volatile, and explodes on contact with any form of solid matter. This phenomena is also referred to as a "thermobaric explosion", and has the added benefit of severely reducing oxygen levels in the immediate area of effect of any Fire Jutsu imbued with this Sovereign Flame, lessening the power of any and all Fire Style within the area after this Sovereign Flame has been used by 1 Rank.

Alisa's Bliss - The end result from the overbearing joy that she brought into the world, Alisa created this Sovereign Flame. The user must also know and understand their own joy to access this vibrant Sovereign Flame, which is linked directly to the user's happiness. As she was never one to enjoy fights, Alisa's Bliss has no blatantly offensive properties, creating a yellow flame that grants one's Fire Style with the ability to blind all within Short Range of a Jutsu imbued with this Sovereign Flame when it explodes, similar in nature to a flashbomb.

Diarmuid's Covetousness - Born from attempting to fill an empty, endless void in his life by accumulating material goods, Diarmuid forged this gangrenous green Sovereign Flame, which is deeply rooted in all things connected with jealousy. Diarmuid's Covetousness grants one's Fire Style with the ability to steal, or copy, the attributes and abilities of other Fire Release Jutsu it is able to make direct contact with, and successfully overpower. This applies to both friendly and enemy Jutsu, and allow attributes that stem from both the manipulation of the Chakra's Nature and Shape. However, any attempt to "steal" or "copy" the abilities of another Sovereign Flame will result in failure, as the conflicting nature of the emotions that constitute the Sovereign Flames will render each other inert. While it has no stolen attributes or abilities, it produces basic flames just like a regular Fire Jutsu, simply with a different colour.

Imogen's Sorrow - Imogen's perpetual sadness came from an ultimatum that shattered her life, with the resulting sadness causing her to forge her own Sovereign Flame by accident. The user must also know and understand their own sadness to access this silent, ghostly blue fire, which is deeply affected by the sorrows of ones life. Imogen's Sorrow infuses one's Fire Style with the property to exude an external endothermic reaction in place of the regular exothermic reaction, drawing in heat from the Jutsu's surroundings and forcing the outer reaches of the Jutsu to be "perceived" as cold. But despite this perception, at the core of any Jutsu imbued with Imogen's Sorrow still burns a powerful flame like regular Fire Ninjutsu, causing the usual burns on contact with a target or surface. The difference is the first moments where the Jutsu approaches an opponent, making them believe it's something entirely different from Fire Ninjutsu, thus giving the user a slight advantage.

Schifone's Acrimony - Unfortunately for it's creator, this Sovereign Flame was created from their abhorrent disgust for the world. The user must also know and understand their own disgust to access this pungent purple fire, which is connected with one's own sense of revulsion. Schifone's Acrimony grants one's Fire Style with the ability to produce an overwhelming scent, as it consumes more of the trace elements found in the air. With these higher concentrations of those trace elements, the flame bombards the opponents sense of smell, overloading it, while also effectively acting as an active marking agent that allows Olfactory Sensors, like Ninja Hounds and the Inuzuka, to track the target to the ends of the Earth, regardless of attempts to remove it.

Phobos' Recreancy - Born from a perpetual, crippling fear of the world, and the darkness within it, Phobos created this Sovereign Flame. The user must also know and understand their own fears to access this deceptively dim black fire, which is deeply rooted in cowardice. Phobos' Recreancy imbues one's Fire Style with the unique property to emit zero light, thus creating a black fire that perfectly blends into darkness, and is well suited for assassinations or deception, as it is identical to the famed Black Flames of Amaterasu, though obviously lacking it's unique ability to never be extinguished.

Rhiannon's Clarity - Rhiannon was a very unique young woman, as she never really had any predisposition for any emotion whatsoever. Eventually she came to understand that this was not the product of apathy, or a disinterest in showing any emotion, but simply the result of achieving a true state of peace, and by coming to acknowledge this, she created this Sovereign Flame. The user must also know have a sense of neutrality to access this surprisingly unique pure, clear fire, which is the result of enlightenment. Rhiannon's Clarity imbues one's Fire Style with the unique property to completely allow light to almost pass completely through it, thus creating the illusion that the user's fire is invisible. Despite this "invisibility", it still distorts any light that passes through it, created a "wavy" effect that can still be seen by the naked eye.

Chakra Control: Fire ➟ Being a competent wielder of Chakra, Shayde is well-versed in the concept of Chakra Control, and applies that skill to his mastery over the Element of Fire. This control over his Chakra allows him to use less Chakra for any and all Fire Release Jutsu he performs.

Combat Specialist: Taijutsu ➟ Thanks to his constant, rigorous training in, and study of the art of Taijutsu, Shayde has become a very adamant and sturdy close combat fighter, able to take more than his fair share of hits, primarily thanks to his personal emphasis on defensive techniques. His specialization of this field goes deeper however. As a "Combat Specialist", his Taijutsu and Kenjutsu damage is passively increased by +10. This, in tandem with his unwavering constitution, makes Shayde a very competent and deadly close range fighter.

Combat Summoner ➟ Shayde possesses a very exotic and powerful Nintaijutsu technique, which utilizes special Summoning Tattoos applied to the entire body. Acting like a map of sorts to Shayde's body itself, he is able to partially call upon the corresponding limbs/ parts of his Summoning Animals for aid, which is especially useful in close quarters combat, swiftly summoning his animal companions to help overwhelm his opponents in tandem with his own Taijutsu. The technique also has uses outside of straight up hand to hand combat, allowing Shayde to perform various actions and feats that would normally be impossible for him, all with the speed and ease of use that the Summoning Jutsu allows. The appearance of these tattoo's are detailed within the "Appearance" portion of this biography.

(Nintaijutsu: Sentō Shōkan no Jutsu) Ninja Body Art: Combat Summoner Technique
Type: Offensive/ Defensive/ Supplementary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short - Mid (Depending on the size of the Summon)
Chakra: 20 - 40 (Depending on the Rank of the Summon)
Damage: 40 - 80 (Depending on the Rank of the Summon)
Description: Created by a Summoning Jutsu savant known as the Sentō Shōkan (Combat Summoner) with the specific goal of allowing the user to combine both the Summoning Jutsu and Taijutsu together, he was able to create a new form of Close Quarters Combat. In the simplest terms, the Combat Summoner technique takes the basic concept of the Summoning Jutsu and allows them to be performed in conjunction with Taijutsu. As this Jutsu has its roots set in the Summoning Jutsu, this Jutsu requires it's user to fulfil similar conditions as the Summoning Jutsu, with minor differences which are explained below. This Jutsu is primarily responsible for introducing and explaining the concept of "Combat Summoning", and acting as a reference for derived techniques, all of which will logically fall under the category of Nintaijutsu. There are 2 key aspects to the Combat Summoner technique, the first of which is the alteration to and general application of the user's Summoning Tattoo('s). Instead of being a small, easily concealed Tattoo which is utilized for instant Summoning without Hand Seals, the Tattoo is applied to the entirety of the users body. Because of this it functions like an active map of the user's body for the Summoning Technique itself, with each part of the user's body being linked to a corresponding part of their Summoning Animal's body through their Tattoo's. This allows the user to Summon the corresponding body part of their Summon by activating the Tattoo('s) located on that specific body part. The second aspect is the actual application of the technique in battle. The regular Summoning Jutsu works by signing a Contract with a specific Animal in blood, then sacrificing a small portion of blood each time the user wishes to use the Summoning Jutsu, by wiping blood on their Tattoo, then applying both Chakra and pressure to a surface via direct contact. This technique's Summoning steps are almost identical, with the only real difference being a more direct approach to the "Contact" portion. Logically the user must still apply both blood and Chakra to their Tattoo's, and make contact with a surface, the surface mainly being considered the opponent's body, before the Combat Summoning actually occurs.

The following is an example of how this Jutsu would work within a standard combat scenario; A signer of the Toad Contract performs the D-Rank Taijutsu technique "(Kodzuku) Punch" with their left fist which connects with their target, while also meeting the conditions for the Summoning Jutsu. As they channel Chakra through the Tattoo on their left arm, which also has the necessary blood wiped across it, they become able to "Summon" the left arm of their Summoning Animal to reinforce their attack, which for the purposes of this example is the B-Rank Summon, Gamatatsu. Gamatatsu's fist then almost instantly "materializes" in the area surrounding the user's left arm, similar in appearance and function to how users of the Mangekyō Sharingan can partially manifest their Susano'o's arm, appearing in the area surrounding the user, but not "overlapping" it. This means that any harmful Jutsu that the user may have active will not affect the Summoned fist, as they would not be able to make direct contact, unless the harmful Jutsu has an extended range. Gamatatsu's fist also attacks the target, following the same general speed, trajectory, etc as the users attack, creating a two pronged attack, one being the D-Rank (20 Damage) punch the user threw, and the other being the B-Rank (40 Damage) Combat Summoner punch from Gamatatsu, resulting in a total of 60 damage, should both punches successfully land without interference. Upon the completion of the attack, whether either attack was successful or not, Gamatatsu's arm disappears as quickly as it appeared, leaving the user to plan their next attack accordingly.

Note: The Combat Summoner Tattoo's are designed and applied by the user at their own discretion, requiring the user to post this Jutsu in the "Other" portion, and describe the appearance of their Tattoo's within the "Appearance" portion, of any Biography that wishes to use this Jutsu.
Note: Although the damage of this technique is taken directly from the Rank of the chosen Summon, unique effects and abilities for any Summons utilized with this technique must also be taken into consideration, whether they be a result of that Summon's Biology, or some passive ability they possess.
Note: Due to the unique method of Summoning that the Combat Summoner Jutsu utilizes, the partial Summoning method employed by the Combat Summoner Jutsu does not affect the Regular Summoning Jutsu Method. This is because the Combat Summoning method relies solely on the actions and Chakra of the user for it's activation, and thus doesn't conflict with it. However, any Animal that has been Summoned using the Regular Method, and subsequently used up their summoning time, cannot be Summoned via the Combat Summoner Method. This is because when Animals are Summoned using the Regular Method, they expend their own Chakra to maintain the Summoning, and once they run out of Chakra, typically around 4 turns later, they become unavailable to be Summoned afterwords. The Combat Summoner Method adheres to this restriction because it's based on the Summoning Animal, not the method of Summoning.

Leg Weights ➟ After several weeks, and months of training, Shayde advanced his skills in Taijutsu with the addition of specialized Leg Weights, which utilize a fairly basic sealing formula to increase their weight. The user slowly trains with these, making them even heavier as they become acclimatized to the new strain, strengthening their legs muscles as they do so. Eventually the user grows accustomed to these conditions, becoming able to move just as freely as they could without before the training. However, once the user removes these weights, they are able to move at much faster speeds than they could before, twice their base running speed, with the increased strength in their leg muscles increasing the damage of kick-based Taijutsu. With these common, but valuable tools at his disposal, Shayde's skills in Taijutsu have become all the better because of them.

(Katai Omori) Leg Weights
Type: Weapon/Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The Leg Weights used for Special Taijutsu Training with Added Weights are made through the application of a sealing formula to ordinary leg weights. The sealing formula is used to, through the use of Chakra, increase the weight of the leg weights to the desired level. The seal can't be applied to anything other than the leg weights and its use is restricted to its original purpose. One can remove the leg weights but the sealing technique in them stays active indefinitely and can't be released. Additionally, the Leg Weights and their unique seal calibration makes them only usable by the ninja to whom they belong. They can't be sealed or stolen.

(Katai Omori: Doroppu) Leg Weights: Drop
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A (+20 to Kicks, 2x Running Speed)
Description: The user stops, bends over to reach his legs and unstraps his leg weights, dropping them to the ground. As a result the user gains a drastic boost to his running speed (doubles) and +20 to all his Strong Fist Kick-related moves. However, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other.

Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger ➟ After a fateful encounter at Chungsu's library, Shayde became an unwilling test subject in a mad scientists' pursuit of immortality, having his right arm forcibly taken over by a cancerous symbiote. Despite being wrapped in bandages and sealed with Fūinjutsu, the unknown creature, which Shayde has taken to calling "Greed" for it's ravenous appetite, heavily influences Shayde's actions and behavior, inflicting upon him an uncontrollable hunger, which is slowly driving the Uchiha mad. Greed possesses a fluid and malleable structure which is able to shift from one form to another, in addition to allowing him to alter his biological functions to suit his, or Shayde's, needs, which in the former case is almost always the creation of more mouths to facilitate the consumption of more solid matter and satiate his eternal hunger. Greed also possesses the ability to copy and replicate the properties of any solid matter he devours, from organic, to man-made, and even solids created via Chakra. These make Greed a very versatile tool, capable of a wide range of applications, especially in combat, though one Shayde is hesitant to utilize, as he does not yet understand the extent, or repercussions of maintaining, and utilizing this cancerous symbiote.

(Gurīdo ∞ Eien no Kiga) Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger
Type: Weapon
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short - Long (Depending on Greed's shape)
Chakra: N/A - 50 (Devour) 20 (Regeneration) 10 (Shapeshifting)
Damage: N/A (40 whilst Assimilated) (10 damage every turn)
Description: Greed, also known as "(Kamītā) God Eater", is a weaponized Symbiote, a sentient type of organism that seeks out and bonds with a host organism in order to survive, and thrive. Unlike most symbiotic entities Greed is a "Mutualistic" Symbiote, a type of symbiote that survives through a host organism, while providing the host some manner of benefit with it's presence, unlike others which are typically "Parasitic" Symbiotes, which only bring pain, suffering and/ or death with their presence. As one might expect, Greed has an insatiable appetite, and the unfortunate habit of eating just about anything that comes within range, undiscriminating between friend or foe, trash or treasure, etc. All he knows is his own eternal hunger, and the desire to be free from it. While this is most prevalent personality trait, Greed is also brutal, arrogant, disrespectful, sadistic, deceptive, and much, much more, all thanks to his begrudging dependency on other organisms for his survival.

Greed's ravenous hunger goes hand in hand with his ability to analyze, retain and replicate the appearance, texture, properties, etc of any solid material he devours, regardless of whether it is natural, man-made, created via Chakra, etc, similar to the Ninjutsu . As stated, this ability only works on solids, meaning liquids, gasses, energies, etc cannot be devoured and replicated using this ability, as they lack physical substance for Greed to consume and assimilate. Examples include a wide and varied range from basic earthen materials like dirt and hard earth, to denser materials, like rocks, metals and crystals, and organic materials, such as wood. In the case of materials devoid of Chakra, devouring them costs no Chakra and is a passive action. In the case of materials created via Chakra, the user must expend Chakra equivalent to the Rank of the material Greed wants to devour and this will cost a move. Greed can only replicate the properties from a single material at any given time, in addition to his base state. The ability to assimilate the properties of a material into his form is a passive one, and requires no Chakra from the user to achieve, but is limited to only one change per turn.

In his base state Greed possesses an immunity to B-Ranks and below, and requires at least an A-Rank to damage him, and another to destroy him, or one S-Rank, etc. While Greed is injured in his base state, he can quickly regenerate injured/ destroyed parts within that same turn, at the cost of being being unable to assimilate/ replicate the properties of a material. In other words, while Greed is regenerating, he cannot devour materials to analyze their properties, change his shape, or enter his assimilated state, as he is solely focused on regenerating from the damage he has sustained.

In his assimilated state, Greed's durability is increased to Forbidden Rank, and requires at least one S-Rank to damage him, and another to destroy him, or one Forbidden Rank, etc. While Greed is injured in his Assimilated state, he can regenerate injured/ destroyed parts over the course of the next turn, during which time he is still susceptible to a fatal attack. Finally, thanks to the increase in his durability, physical attacks that utilize Greed whilst assimilated also receive a substantial increase, dealing 20 more damage, such as Taijutsu, or Kenjutsu if Greed changes his shape into that of a blade.

In addition to his "assimilation" ability, Greed also has complete and total control over the shape and general functions of his form, allowing him to change his forms shape and functions to suit his needs, usually covering the majority of his form into as many mouths as he can. This "Shapeshifting" relies on a mass-conversion system, allowing Greed to mould himself into shapes and forms equivalent to, or less than, the total amount of mass he has consumed. This can allow Greed to shape his form in many ways, molding himself into the shape of various weapons, like a blade to facilitate the usage of Kenjutsu, or a whip-like appendage to engage in ranged strikes, while his assimilation ability allows Greed to change the general properties and appearance of these shapes into various materials, making his strikes both versatile, and deadly.

Through both of these abilities Greed is implanted into users Biography's hands/ arms via Medical Ninjutsu, requiring a Medical Ninja to oversee the merging of the two. This is performed within the NarutoBase Hospital to ensure that Greed's consumption and replication of the user's hand/ arm is as close to the original as possible, and, using their knowledge of the inner workings of the body, ensure functions like the flow of blood, as well as the connection between Greed and the user's Tenketsu, the flow of the user's Chakra into Greed, and other biological functions, such as the connection between nerves, etc, are as functional as possible. This allows both the user and Greed to share their senses, experiences, allows direct mental communication between the two, etc, while also allowing the user to weave seals using Greed as a proxy, and supply Greed with Chakra for his abilities, or for Greed to forcefully drain Chakra from his host. Greed can also devour small portions of the body and with every inch of the user devoured comes excruciating pain, equivalent to the pain inflicted by biting your tongue off.

While the user has some leeway in their manipulation of Greed, such as utilizing him to perform hand seals for their Jutsu, Greed is still his own organism, and thus is capable of both independent movement, thought, actions, etc, regardless of input from his host. This means that, should the host may be incapacitated, or unable to act in some manner, it doesn't necessarily apply to Greed. For example, in the case of a Genjutsu directed at the host, although they and Greed share the same Chakra flow, because Greed has his own mind, senses, etc, he would be unaffected unless the Genjutsu affects multiple targets.

Note: The acquisition of unique or specific materials must be performed in an Official Fight where Greed consumes the specified material, and the user emerges victorious, or escapes the battle. Additionally, the user must compile a list of all materials Greed has devoured, with the links to the appropriate battles, within their Custom Jutsu thread.
Note: Can only be used by Iᴍᴘᴇяғᴇᴄᴛ.

Gluttony ➟ Utilizing Greed's boundless appetite, and ability to convert and store solid mass into his own biomass for various purposes, Gluttony allows Greed to act not just as a ravenous parasite, but also a nigh-infinite storage space for himself, and Shayde. Contained within the vast sea of biological matter, Shayde has multiple weapons including his Chokutō and Gunbai, as well as far too many standard Ninja Tools to count. Finally, when not in use, objects such as his Scientific Ninja Tools, and Artifacts, as well as valuables, such as Kumi, or Ryō, are safely stored within Greed's "Stomach of Holding", to prevent their theft, or similar/ related acts from occurring.

(Gurīdo ∞ Kuishinbō no Sokonashi) Greed ∞ The Bottomless Glutton
Type: Supplementary (Weapon)
Rank: N/A
Range: Self
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Derived from his "mass conversion" ability, whereby all devoured matter is converted into biomass for him to utilize in conjunction with his shapeshifting and assimilation abilities, Greed developed this skill, which he aptly named his "Gluttony". Gluttony effectively allows Greed's biomass system to act as a nigh bottomless storage system for either himself, or his host to utilize, which is visualized as an endless expanse within Greed himself, composed of millions of writhing bodies, skeletons, etc, and submerged in a sea of blood and viscera. Gluttony is initiated upon the act of Greed devouring a desired item, object, etc, following the rules of Greed's "Devour" ability, as detailed within "(Gurīdo ∞ Eien no Kiga) Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger", minus Chakra costs. This is due to the fact that, unlike with the regular method of devourment, breaking the devoured mass down via mastication, Gluttony requires that Greed devour the target whole, removing the Chakra cost required to break down Ranked matter, while only partially converting the target into biomass, storing it alongside the rest of his accumulated biomass, while leaving it wholly intact. When the user wishes to "withdraw" a "Gluttonized" item, object, etc, they simply have Greed "spit" it back up, reconverting it from his biomass, and back to it's original form. This can be used to allow the user to travel unencumbered by weapons, tools or accessories they may require to perform specific techniques, or to hide valuables that may be the target of theft. In the case of regular tools, such as Kunai, Shuriken, etc, and other common objects, they can be withdrawn passively, and in the case of projectiles, at a faster speed than it would take one to draw a throwing weapon from a pouch. In regards to more unique, or complicated objects, such as one-of-a-kind weapons and the like, this is limited to one per turn for both withdrawing and storing. Finally, Gluttony cannot be used to store any kind of sentient, living target, as they cannot survive the biomass conversion process.

Note: Can only be used by the current host of "(Gurīdo ∞ Eien no Kiga) Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger".

Scientific Tools & Artefacts ➟ Shayde possesses two common Ninja Tools, both of which have limited uses thanks to his lack of Cybernetic augmentations, but still have their own unique, creative and irreplaceable applications. The first, and more favoured of the two, is Shayde's Kote, a device that seals Jutsu within scrolls, before shrinking them down, storing them within the device, and releases them upon the performance of unique single-handed seals. Shayde always has one technique stored within the device, a buffing technique which increases the scale, and power of his Fire Re;lease Jutsu, in the event his techniques aren't as strong as they'd need to be; "Fire Expansion". The second is a Tool with just as much situational value, despite not being as "sleek" as the Kote. The "Absorption Arm" allows the user to create a small black orb, akin to a singularity in both appearance and function, as the orb absorbs Jutsu that make contact with it, making it an invaluable asset when fighting unknown Shinobi, or when dealing with Jutsu that can't otherwise be countered, or defended against.

(Kote) - Forearm
(Kote) - Forearm
Type: Tool
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: As its name suggests, this tool is worn on the forearm. After choosing one Ninjutsu to seal within the scroll, the user seals it within the seal after using it or having another person utilize it. The user initiates one of their techniques before sealing them into a scroll. The scroll is then shrunken to pill-size and is put inside the Kote. Afterwards, they can release the scroll and use the sealed technique. To use some elemental technique, the user apparently needs to form the corresponding seal first. Because using the Kote doesn't require Chakra, the user can gain an advantage in battle by releasing normally Chakra-taxing techniques while saving their Chakra or continuing to use techniques when low on Chakra, thereby keeping the user rested and less-likely to endure exhaustion; it can even be used by a non-ninja person.

Note: Genin to S-Jounin Ninja can seal up to Forbidden ranked Ninjutsu techniques, which must be noted within the bio. S-class and Sannin can seal up to S ranks and Kage and up ninja can only seal A ranks and below within a Kote.
Note: Only up to 3 Kotes can be owned, counting as a Tool slot.
Note: Only Ninjutsu, Elemental Ninjutsu, and non Fuuinjutsu based Advanced Ninjutsu fields can be sealed.
(Katon: Kasai Kakujuu) - Fire Style: Fire Expansion (Activated with "One Finger Salute" Hand Seal)
Type: Attack/Defence
Rank: A
Range: Short - long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: +25
Description: After releasing a fire Jutsu the user will perform 2 hand seals as they release there Chakra into the fire Jutsu. In doing so, the user will increase the power and size of the fire Jutsu boosting any fire Jutsu by 25 damage points. By the increase in Chakra the fire gains more power as it absorbs more oxygen increasing its power.

Note: Can only use used on Fire the user or the users summon has created.
Note: Can only be used once one each Fire Jutsu creates.
Note: Can only be used 3 times.

(Abusōbu Ude) - Absorption Arm
(Abusōbu Ude) - Absorption Arm
Type: Tool
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (40 Chakra per use)
Damage: N/A
Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing Chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly Rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.

Note: Can be used a max of 3 times for Ninja and 6 for Cyborgs.
