I was shocked at the ending.
I'm sad Cody Rhodes lost, but Show deserves it.
Also, Jericho and Punk was by far, the best match of the card.
PS: Edge's haircut=Amazing.
The ending will be in the annals of WWE history. It was really 'Once in a Lifetime'. It's 'Once in a Lifetime' that you see such a crowd erupting. It's 'Once in a Lifetime' that you see John Cena losing cleanly. It's 'Once in a Lifetime' that you see Cena losing on being cocky and arrogant. It's 'Once in a Lifetime' that there've been such build-up for a Mania' main-event. It's 'Once in a Lifetime' that you see Cena so broken down with a defeat.
It's gonna be much more history if this leads to a Heel turn of Cena...
I'd rather wanted Rhodes to get the heel victory rather than Kane but yeah, Big Show's emotion was worth it; especially since he might be in the mid-card again next year.
Jericho-Punk was my favorite but as I just see the 3 big matches once more, I won't say by far. Since the End of an Era match delivered big way through their story-telling.
If I were to rate the 3 big matches, I would say (on A+, A, A-, B+ ect....till F scale):
- CM Punk v/s Jericho (A) - Was uber-awesome but still could be a little bit more.
- Undertaker v/s Triple H (A-) - Epic. Showed great history, story-telling and emotions. Unpredictability for most parts made it better. I would have put it in Top position if the Hell in a Cell was used more.
- The Rock v/s John Cena (B) - Highly entertaining due to numerous factor. Might seem like I'm underrating it in some Rock's fans but for me, to give it a B, I must really have liked it. Cause this match could have sucked terribly given the all-year pre-match hype.
I had tears when Edge's music plays. I do like Edge but always preferred him as a heel and sounds weird that I dropped some tears. I guessed it's because I was always sad that he did not retired in a match and especially since it was shown just after the highly-epic moment of End of an Era match.
