You should always render the stock, tho there are a few rare cases when you don't have to.
Its a nice tag but i will say how you positioned the c4ds makes them look like a border. It isn't helping with the flow so try to place then around the render instead. Lighting needs some working try, specifying a light source in the tag taking the shadows of the render into consideration . Blending is a little weak. Work on your blending and hopefully you will do miracles *o*
