You know, i was looking for a shinobi at kakashi's level, but without sharingan so it would be a good matchup for zabuza (around that level too)

A Zabuza VS Kabuto thread already exists, it caused a lot of heated arguments and there was no definitive answer.

And Kabuto is incredibly cunning and intelligent, he has the strength to back it up too but he's not stronger than Kakashi. Kabuto's greatest strength is playing dirty and finding the opponent's weakness and manipulating it to win. I'd still say Part 1 Kakashi could defeat Kabuto in an actual 1-on-1 without any intel. He's just more talented.

kabuto wasnt in kakashi's lvl. kabuto is strong but that time, tsunade was having some mental issues, she can't concentrate n shit.

Kabuto is strong but when he fought tsunade he exploited her fear of blood. This allowed him to fight tsunade without getting attacked since at the time, when tsunade saw blood she would freeze up. Kabuto being on kakashi level im not quite sure but you can't go against manga words. Now however its questionable who is stronger.

He was a pretty great shinobi. Deliberately failing the Chunin Exams to get information on the soon to be great shinobi, not bad. Especially those ninja info cards. He's definitely portrayed as around Kakashi's level, even if he ends up inferior (which I believe he is a tad bit).

The Kakashi and Kabuto encounter should be something great for the ones who complain about Naruto not having enough tactical qualities, even without combat.
