No, Dvd. :| Lol There is no Blu-ray release of the anime beside the movies, it's not even animated in HD, just upscaled. It's animated @ SD @ 16:9 (720x480, or 820x480 if I'm not mistaken).

I've been watching the anime again recently to see how they animate the juicy parts of the series and I'm a bit disappointed so far.

I'm probably too used to being spoiled with good art and animation from short-running anime.

Yeah I notice that too, especially in the Chikara arc. If every Naruto episode was like that, then I'd be a happy camper.

I don't think Kishi decides on all of the colors of the anime....just the major characters.

And the Yin/Yang Kyuubi were dark brown and orange so it still would have made sense.

I'm not saying that they should have made it exactly like that, but it doesn't look like they put any effort into it.
