Well I remember seeing somewhere a long time ago that the Uchiha symbol had a cresent moon in it ands something else. I can't remember if it was in the manga, anime or what but there was an explanation of the uchiha symbol somewhere that lead to that so I didn't see today's chapter coming but I wasn't surprised either

I can't remember if it was in the manga, anime or what but there was an explanation of the uchiha symbol somewhere that lead to that so I didn't see today's chapter coming but I wasn't surprised either

I remember explaining why it's a fan, but never the portion resembling a crescent moon. I'll look it up later.

But if Naruto is (as people theorise) "reviving" Gai or saving him from death, shouldn't he have done so with Obito and taken care of black Zetzu?

Hell with that, destroy the Rinnegan in Obito's eye socket.

I don't think it's a coincidence. I think that those symbols are the reasons the Uzumaki and Uchiha emblems are like that. The circle symbol is on Kaguya's head (those two circles above her Byakugan) but I'm not sure about the crescent moon shape. Maybe it has something to do with Indra?

Naruto just made it in time to stop Madara's attack on Guy. He wouldn't have had time to do anything for Obito.
