Raikage punched through Amaterasu, not susanoo.

Sasuke activated Susanoo for the first time when the Raikage used his Raikage bomb. Incomplete but still a tough defense. FRS only need to connect to then start expanding. It destroys at a cellular level and w/o the shield that Itachi had, I doubt it can tank it.

I beleive what Itachi gave Naruto was a mixture of things first a message to Sasuke when Tsukoyomi is activated in Sasuke against Naruto so Itachi can see Sasuke again and try to talk him out of it like Mianto for Naruto and the seal of the demon fox. Second a counter attck for Amaterasu or maybe both the sword and shield he wielded. I really hope it's not cheesy like a genjutsu cause that wouldn't suit Naruto in the least but who knows it's all up to Kishimoto.

I have to agree with you.

Sasuke's Susano did not have the "Sealing Sword" that sealed away Orochimaru...

come to think of it... you guys might actually be right.

Orochimaru has been searching for the Sword of Totsuka for his entire life. He was shocked when he found out that Itachi had it. this means that the sword does not belong to every person who has the Mangekyo sharingan who can summon Sussano. It is a "possession"... it could very well be that he gave something to NAruto that will give naruto the possession of the sword when Itachi dies... Just speculating.

Come to think of it, I dont know why any of us didnt think of it before, unless im mistaken and havent read this idea.

Sasuke has susanoo, and as it appears, even kages cannot damage him, and as tobi says the MS grows with real battle experience, meaning Susanoo is gonna get bigger and badder like when Itachi unleashed it.


Itachis gift to Naruto is the ability to go through Susanoo, in order to beat Sasuke if need be.

There is little evidence even sage mode rasenshuriken would burst through Susanoo.

Its a cheap move that makes the wielder invulnerable, the only way to beat it is special circumstances, not hard work training etc or the kages couldve done it.

I had actually thought that maybe Itachi gave Naruto Susanoo itself at one point. It kinda makes sense, since Itachi was able to to the transcription seal: Amaterasu to make his Mangekyo appear in Sasuke. I figured once Naruto needed Susanoo, he may have summoned it. Susanoo also seems to change shape based on the nature of the chakra of the one who summons it. Imagine what Narutos would look like with Kyuubi Chakra in it.

Now I actually think the theory is a little far fetched.

Naruto wouldn't need to learn a counter to the Tsukiyomi either if he learned to control the Kyuubi.

We shouldn't really speculate too much on what Kishi decides to give Naruto.
