So it's the general consensus that hidan is the weakest akatsuki member...but what if I told you he might only be the third weakest? Bump bum bummmm!


It's simple.the most underrated power of his body link..


IT TRANSFERS CHAKRA SEVERAL KILOMETERS!


When shikamaru used kakuzus blood despite being deep in the Nara Forest,the link still worked


There's no other jutsu that can work that distance without some direct link such as vision or chakra rods


Hidan doesn't even need to fight anyone! Just have someone lowkey get a blood sample and sit on a laz-e-boi and gg


Now if hidan had a partner from the aburame clan with some mosquitoes...

He's still crap though. If his best chance of not being crap resides in having a partner that can complement with his abilities, like Kazuzu, they by definition that means that the character itself and by it's own is crap.

I guess kakashi is crap then since he needed team 7 to release water prison,got caught and nearly beaten twice by kakuzu in 3 pages(saved by Naruto and shikamaru),needed gai to save him from itachi,needed obito for DMS etc

Every character has needed Assistance at some point.doesnt make you weak. Also if hidan and kakuzu got along they would have been much better in battle

You mistake needing assistance to get out of a trap or a tricky situation (like Kakashi vs Zabuza, and so on) to actually need a partner to properly function.

Your point is "Hidan can actually kill anyone anywhere on the planet with just a drop of his blood". Cool, and true since we didn't see that his technique was restricted by distance. Point is, if he cannot get the drop of blood from anywhere on the planet on his own (hence your point that if he had someone to deliver the blood to him) then he reverts to being crap.

Hidan can use his Wind Style to send little breezes thousands of miles away to inflict paper-cuts on kages doing paper work, carry that bloodied paper back, and then kill them. Not even Naruto is safe if this man gets out of his hole.. It's a shame he wasn't paired with Konan.
