all the edo had the same freedom cause kabuto made it to the point when he used the emotions of the edos like asuma and neji's dad to have the advantage in the battle. What i want to know is how can he release the seal when he is program to fight the kage.

The Edo castor can provide limited control to the Edo itself. Think of it as autopilot vs manual. At certain points Kabuto took over full control, like with Muu. To answer your question, first the Edo has to know the hand signs to perform the Jutsu. Next, the castor needs to be otherwise engaged (like Kabuto in Izanami), or else the castor will simply assume control and prevent the Edo from doing this.

Actually no. What happened was that after ET was released, all of the summoned dead gain their bodies back for a few moments. It is in this time that you can either escape if you know how, or say goodbye, etc. Don't forget that since the ET is released, there is no way for Kabuto to get them back with out sacrificing and doing all the ritual shit again.

Unknown. Pure speculation, perhaps in his many exchanges with the Senju clan he observed Tobirama performing the jutsu. As a Sharingan user, he would be able to copy the technique.

Multiple times Kabuto had to assume full control after the Edo was demonstrating too much free will. He did this with Nagato, the Raikage, and attempted it with Hanzou as well when he commited seppuku. So yeah, Edo's can be a problem if the castor isn't paying attention. Why did Madara shout release if not still under a level of influence?
