Naruto is a sensor and since his SM became perfect his reaction is pretty much instant this is clear against Kaguya so that with all of Naruto's other power Sasuke has limited options because his S/T wouldn't work and the Chibaku Tensei could be a problem as some have stated in other threads about Sasuke hurling a ton of rocks towards Naruto lol

Anyway, Sasuke was holding back against Kaguya as already established, he only went fully serious when he and naruto tried to seal her three times, saving naruto from IT, analyzing kaguya's abilities. Other than those, he let naruto do the rest of the work so he could preserve his chakra and study naruto's new techs, which was very smart on his behalf, so the odds are in Sasuke's favor right now.

The only way this can end is with cooperation, they both are needed to undo the IT, so without the other it's the end of the world.

Before this chapter I actually thought of Sasuke was so weak but now like you said he was holding back so once the Kages were sent back he would make his move but I guess to be honest Sasuke will have a little advantage because Naruto right now won't go into this with intent to kill which will weaken him where Sasuke will and won't hesitate

Considering how he gets the gudoudama which nullifies all ninjutsu in addition to all the senjutsu prowess he possesses when he goes Rikudou-chakra mode practically makes it superior to KCM.

Iksokrips is correct. Sasuke's plan to kill the hokages while they are in IT is cowardly and it is also smart. Why waste chakra and energy on people when he can dispose of them now and only have to fight Naruto. Of course, just like Madara, his arrogance will be his undoing.

Just as Sasuke did not show everything he had during the battle, neither did Naruto. Naruto was in a trust but verify mode since Sasuke declared he would become Hokage. Once Sasuke showed he was willing to let Sakura, Kakashi and Obito die and tells Kakashi he's useless, Naruto stops listening to him and attacks Kaguya on his own. I don't think we've come close to seeing what Naruto is capable of.

The fact remains that Naruto is in the movie and as far as we know Sasuke is not. So he ends up in jail, severely wounded or dead. Naruto promised Itachi that if he could not bring Sasuke around to the point of protecting the village he will kill him if necessary if he intends to harm the village. Naruto keeps his promises. If Sasuke will not be TNJ'd after they beat the crap out of each other, Naruto will kill him if necessary.

Sasuke didn't do too well against the mates last time, I can't imagine that he would be that much better now against active kages. He could switch places with a few kage making them hit each other but his ability doesn't allow that many uses in quick succession, I still think he would die against active kages, so it sounds about right that he would try a lame tactic like this.

Yea it's kind of cowardly to do that While they're trapped. But it's Sasuke who they need to help free everyone so technically it's in his hands if they live or die. Nonetheless Sasuke just genjutsu all the bijuu and trapped them in chibaku tensei. He did that to all the bijuu. Now what makes you think they stand a chance.
