3 of the best ninja in thr entire series are still genin..

I'm not counting "sage" as a ninja rank..

Kabuto NEVER passed the chuunin exams so he's still a genin.yet he's one of the best shinobi in history ..

Same for Naruto and sauce..

Neither passed nor re-took the exams yet there some boss's..

Did kishi maybe purposely keep them genin or you think he eventually forgot about those 3 being genin?

Its funny too me, these leaders like danzo, and pain got whooped by genin ^_^

purposeful. Kabuto was a Genin from Konoha, when he defected to Sound, he probably got made Chuunin or Jounin but there is no such mention.

Sasuke and Kabuto live outside of the villages and classes now meaning none of that matters to them anyway. Naruto has hardly had anytime to retake the Chunin Exam (although all the little kids in there with him would get slaughtered) so lets see if Hokage is enough of a 'title' for Naruto in the future.

i think in the future it will matter ,because missions are given according to ninja ranks and maybe pay too.but at the end of the war there is gonna be some promotion ,we have to wait and see....... sauce lol

Rank DOES kinda matter in the war...they don't have genin like konohamaru and company fighting in the war.

Technically you've correct but kabuto failed on propose he was already jounin level (kakashi to be exact) & sasuke was said to higher than that level way, before the chuunin exam
Its likely if the massacre didn't happen he would've graduated around eight or nine and by the chuunin exams he would've been preparing to become a jounin
