Wouldn't it be crazy?

If Orochimaru is actually thousands of years old and is the one who persuaded Kaguya to eat the fruit from the tree just to have fun watching the world in chaos for the next few thousand years? If he was actually the mastermind behind everything that's going on just for the sake of his fun?

I know this isn't the case, just a thought I had and wanted to share

She ate the fruit not out of persuasion but out so she could bring order to the world.

I have a feeling you thought about the book of Genesis before making this thread.

She ate it because she was very hungry. All she just wanted was some beef

You think so? Think about what we were told. This is a classic case of an innocent human female being corrupted by an evil force (usually supernatural, but we will see). I could go on and on about the parallels to other stories. Obviously, its not Orochimaru. But, think about what she did...

A "Princess" (which already screams having influences with power around her) decides one day to just up and eat the fruit everyone is told not to even touch; this on the off-chance that it might help her situation? It is almost too contrived. She couldn't have known what the fruit would do unless she was told...by some one who obviously themselves knew. I'd take a close look at everything that's happened to this point. Especially the things Madara has said...

That would be awesome, I don't think that's the case though. Orochimaru does like to start shit though so this kinda thing would be right up his alley

Don't overanalyze things, this story isn't that deep. Kishimoto isn't that great of a writer lol. I just made this thread for fun

Thanks to this guy, I would love for this to be the case. Or the reincarnation of the one that persuaded the princess. Holy shit what if Tsunade is the reincarnation of the princess? Since she is "Princess" Tsunade.

It could be both, she was told of what the fruit would do , rejected it. Then once she seen that there was no other choice she decided to eat it to protect her people. She seemed to keep her humanity intact so that shows that it didn't quite corrupt her maybe she developed a superiority complex, but she is a princess so it's okay.

I think in time, he'll get you to come around...

I realized it was for fun, obviously no one could be serious about Oro being 1000 years old. This is just a topic Im really interested in atm. and FemmeFatale gave me a canvas to work on.

But joking aside, I don't think you are that far off...even though you were kidding.

And Jiraya the reincarnation of the SO6P father. Must be a reason why Jiraya was linked to finding the child of prophecy. We just solved the mystery of the story :p

Well you have to look at the BIG picture. The point wasn't to get the Princess to "betray" (which is what I will call it for now) The God Tree, or the Juubi, or nature, or whatever you want to call it. The point was ensure its influence (the fruit that is) through all of mankind. As Madara said, "Everyone is cursed" and he meant that quite literally. The fruit wouldn't corrupt her because she wasn't the target. The target...was everyone who would come after her.
