It's annoying when Naruto 'talks' someone into changing their ideals. He's one of the strongest characters in the entire series, so he needs to beat the crap out of some opponents, otherwise what was the point of all his training?

I disagree. The story needs die hard villans, Naruto wouldn't be what it is without the evil of characters like Madara, Tobi, and Orochimaru. But it wouldn't surprise me if Sasuke changed, that seems like what is supposed to happen.

actually I always felt orocihmaru wasn't absolute evil in the beginning just someone who isn't following anyones orders or philpsophy.

I think orocihmaru will in the end will die for the village believe or not, hes like darth vader in a way return to the good side by his own devices.

If Orochimrau changed (unlikely as may seem), it would be due to Sasuke's influence, not Naruto's. Orochimaru never cared for Naruto, but had been obsessed with Sasuke from the beginning. It is true that in the last few chapters he seems to actually care for Sasuke as a person, not as just a vessel for himself, so perhaps he has changed. More likely though, it is just the way of the snake, waiting quietly for the opportunity to strike.

Oro didn't change. Really. He has some sort of plan for after the war. And that plan won't be nice at all. Doubt he has feelings for the leaf after trying to destroy it and killing Hiruzen.

As for the Uchihas, I think Kishi is planning something deeper with them. There won't be a simple battle and gone- way out. That would be too predictable and boring because we've all seen that every character is beatable. No big surprise to it. And Kishi loves surprises. A tnj way out is too lame too so it will be something alot more complex and epic.

The Sasuke and Orochimaru IMO is just becoming similar to Naruto and Jiraya ........
What I am implying here is Orochimaru is trusting Sasuke more and sharing his reasons for his action as jiraya used to do with Naruto
