Its beyond sad and insulting to see the Dream of Dreams I have spend my life working and chasing for get tossed aside by folks who are CLUELESS to what it even means or what its all about.

I've vowed to strive, suffer and Die trying to find a way to stop the aging process and I simply cant believe what Im seeing here, just the cluelessness when people think Immortality is all about watching people die..

Immortality will open the door to Discovering all science, and for those of u have not the mind for it u will be there when science is at its peak, sooner or later death will be meaningless because no one will die, not by desease, not by accident not by age and all there will be left is to rise higher and higher into the peaks of the universe itself. Thats the very short version of it.

this guy knows what he is talking about.

Immortal is not forever and never die....
Immortal person can create chaos and destroy many things...
(Madara is one example that's why Kishi created him to show the purpose of what an immortal could do..)
Maybe a few decades will do.....

sure why not..The universe is infinite. There are infinite things to learn and it will never get boring.
I would probably get used to see people younger than me and my sons die.

so you have infinite time ahead of you and you will not try to discover how to give immortality to those u will come to love?

OT: dont ask this on NB, the answers are simply clueless "no offense"

Naa lifes already long enough :/

Not really, 70 (or so) years is nothing.

Though, immortality is very possible. Maybe not now, but soon; with the help of It's called, , and it's already began to take root in society through medical applications i.e: creating artificial limbs, artificial organs (eyes, hearts) etc etc.

The problems of today's world are caused by us; Humans being Humans. The problems of humanity (greed, hatred, the pack mentality (be judged/judging people for being/thinking differently), stereotyping (this is a natural thing, that help the brain process and store information, but it's also cause for lots of problems), are so deeply rooted in us, that if we want to progress beyond what we are, we're going to need to throw away our humanity. Is this necessarily a good thing? Well, that's only something that you, yourself can answer.

Yes but No why? Because I really wouldn't wanna see my parents die before me and my siblings as well. It would really make me sad when I get to live forever but I see my Twin die before me. I try not to think about that though...and it's funny how tomorrow is my Bday...well BOTH our Bdays....Dang another year older! CRAP!! *_*

You're assuming that you're the only immortal... if you're immortal, why wouldn't others be?

Yes, but only if I could share my immortality with people like Alexander Corvinus in Underworld.

yeah, i'll take the offer. it's really easy to be a young lad at his 20s and say "i don't care". i'm pretty sure i'd like to see your reaction when there is a serial killer holding a knife on your neck. i mean, if you ain't got no problem with dying, why don't you ask him "stop the dramatic soundtrack already and kill me god damn it!!".

Yes I would. Also I'd appreciate it if my body did not age either. What I mean is that the rate of cell division equals the rate of cell death so you can still work out and get bigger and wounds would repair themselves but there would be nothing like muscle degeneration due to ageing. Also by being immortal, you can still die if jump from a skyscraper or beheaded or being near a suicide bomber.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to never have to worry about being too old to do something, and living to see your great great grandchildren as well as how far we have progressed as humans. There maybe a cure for cancer, aids, robots/androids, free wifi and electricity, a new power source, teleportation for travelling, time travel, finding new worlds, uncovering the mysteries of the universe etc.

I would like to be "immortal" in a sense, but only if technology is advanced enough for us to be healthy when we grow old. But all good things have to come to an end, so I would probably get bored after a period of time.
