Would you try exotic animals in food and what's your limit like would you try a meal with reptiles and insects.

I'll only give some mammals and birds a chance and ones I wouldnt see a human owning it as a pet. Anything else even if I was starving I'm not sure if i could give it a chance think i would try cannibalism before i would try insects.

What's your limit in animals you would eat?

I would be very hesitant but maybe. I mean, I honestly heard that crocodile (or was it alligator - or both?) meat is pretty good. If I ever think it'd be a part of my routine menu, nah. Definitely will stick to chicken, beef, pork, turkey, seafood... etc... stuff most consider normal ig, and I wouldn't go too far out of that if i had a choice.

Crocodile tastes like chicken with a mild fish notes, pretty spongy to chew, not a fan.

As for what 'most' consider normal have to be careful of making such sweeping statements most of the world eat insects to some degree for example, but Americans tend to shy away from them.

Had crocodile, bison (American Buffalo), elk, and deer though I'd consider the latter pretty standard fare but thought might be worth including. If it seems appealing I'll probably give it a try. Dog is extremely greasy for instance so not going to be eating that even if offered like in Oklahoma they make dog stew so if you ever wanted to eat a canine companion head down to one of the reservations down there. Crocodile doesn't sound appealing to me, but the meat looked decent enough so I gave it a burl, as mentioned not a fan, the fish taste turned me off though mild I don't really do seafood (few exceptions) and the chewiness of it was pretty unappealing. Bison has a sort of metallic flavor compared to beef, it's leaner so that's a plus as somebody who can't really handle a lot of fats without getting ill so I have to stick to leaner items, they're fine to substitute for each other IMO. Elk is another I'd compare to beef, can be tough if cooked poorly due to a lower fat content but not innately tough, but a bit of an inconvenience to cook comparatively.
