i would not want to watch it because it would be a romance filled manga and i like concept of rivalry more than the concept of romance, but of course, if all the cards are played right , a female sasuke would be very entertaining.

Maybe like Erza in Fairy Tail or better.

People serious or joking have made it seem like they have a homosexual relationship even if its not true.. many also believe naruto shouldn't have gone so far for just a friend. This is where Sasuke being a female comes in.. this could've been a love interest for Naruto and wouldn't have seemed as bad considering how naruto is trying to get back someone he loves. (of course there still would be criticism) This would also be one way to end the senju/uchiha hatred

I don't agree because:

1. The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke is that between of close brothers with a rivalry: it parallels that between Ashura and Indra, Hashirama and Madara. What would be the point in the whole brother reincarnation thing if Sasuke were a girl? Just, no.

2. Naruto is so fixated on getting Sasuke back because he saw Jiraiya fail to do that with Oro, and later Hashirama with Madara, and Kakashi with Obito... his role is to break the parallel and bring his friend to the good side.

3. Naruto wants to be Hokage, and if a Hokage can't even change the darkness of a friend's heart, what good of a Hokage is he? This is Naruto's thinking.

4. Taking the punches was not just for Sasuke; it was to show those ninja that he is not going to follow the path of hate; it was to show his silent protest against the shinobi curse of hate which Nagato taught him about. It is a bit of what people like MLK Junior and other world pacifist leaders might do.

Making the point of the manga a love story between Naruto and Sasuke would no longer make it Shonen, even. -_-
