I enjoy it with both :hs: I mean you can't expect them to use Ninja weapons and Taijutsu forever

I had the same thought after playing Tenchu lol.

It has an emphasis on stealth, infiltration, weapons and assassination. Rather than... you know, Naruto's way of doing things :D

In the Naruto series I prefer Kakashi Gaiden/3rd Shinobi War Era, the feel it has anyway - it's dark, more stealth, the fights are shorter (Minato vs A & B) but more meaningful with less regurgitated talk-no-jutsu and people died... a lot.

I'm trying to recall at which point Naruto killed someone... ever.
Did he? I don't think Zetsu clones count. I know he "defeated" Kakuzu but Kakashi was the one to finish him off properly, slit throat I believe. Huh. :hmm:

Eh. Back to the point...

I wish Ninjutsu was more exclusive - especially having an affinity.
I guess my idea is that there would be a trade off between power and versatility, so if you have talent/power in one element - you suck in the others. If you're decent in one, you can be decent in another (complimentary) element... but overall, you'll never be exceptional in either.

... does that make sense?

Perhaps it would be better if they just had one affinity and no ability to use another, at all? Maybe.

Weapons - yes! Because honestly, what the f***ing f*** is wrong with the Konoha 11. Tenten has gone overboard and mastered... them all. A the rest? Sasuke picks up a sword and the rest still play with kunai.
... sad. Very sad.

I always felt like poison wasn't as heavily involved as it should have been either. I can't recall any of the Rookie 9/Konoha 11 using it, or the Jonin-sensei.
Shizune, Puppet Masters (Kankuro, Chiyo, Sasori)... and that's it? Pah - you'd think poison would be more prevalent.

My facourite fight of part 1 was Orochimaru vs Hiruzen fight. So much variety in jutsus, taijutsu and tactics.

Yes, because then characters like Neji, the Seven Swordsmen, and Anbu would have been more relevant and impressive. I don't have a problem with genjutsu except for the fact that who can use genjutsu is insanely biased towards Uchiha having godtier genjutsu and everyone else forgetting it exists.

The battle system should have been more like HxH.
For exemple you can only fully master one affinity , not matter who you are.

Hell yeah! I would've loved it even more. To me, all these massive, flashy jutsus and godly powerlevels were pretty boring actually.
