If someone approached you with a reset button, and said that you could have a chance to start over with your life, fix all your mistakes, take a chance at the opportunities you missed in life, fix all the regrets you have, and have a chance to do better......

Would you take that chance and hit the button? Would you start over or just be happy where you are? If you would, what would you do differently?

I don't want to reset everything just yet. If I got f**ked over or did something extremely stupid that I can't recover from then I'd reset. Even then reset means start from the beginning which would be a huge pain in the ass.

Yup, I would. I'd do so many things different, it's too much to write down here.

Yessir. But you'll still have your memory and will be you.

IKR! You gotta deal with learning how to walk again, peeing and soiling yourself, go through teething, breastfeeding, puberty, and school life all over AGAIN!

:lmao:

Who wouldn't? I mean, we've all made mistakes.

Then again, one could say your experiences make you who you are so I'd have second thoughts.

Does that include knowing the future lottery numbers? In that case...

No way. I am who I am because of my choices that includes the bad ones. I know it's tempting but I look at this way. Just because the choice seems better in retrospect doesn't mean it is better for you.

Like say if I had a chance to fly to the moon but only this once and I turned it down then it would seem like I missed an opportunity. But what if I got that do over and instead of playing safe I went, and the shuttle blew up killing me. Because I didn't go I lived, but because I had a do over and took the opportunity, I died at a young age.

See where I'm getting at with this?

I think I'd go for the reset. Ive made 3 major bad decisions - maybe next time through I'd do better.

I'd only want to hit that reset button if I made a horrible mistake like accidentally letting someone die.

The cold slap of reality says there is no do-over. That's why we have to be careful on the decisions we make in life.

Sure, only if I retain my current memory. Even if I wouldn't retain it, maybe I'd do it just to live it again, because my childhood was very fun.

Though I'd also risk changing good memories in real life and in the end I'd be the only one to know about them.

So it's 50/50 for me.

Just name a few.
- I'd behave a lot better towards my parents and support them better, especially my father before it's too late and the regrets catch me.
- I'd also get away from my vicious grandparents, fatherly side, as soon as possible.
- I'd not surround myself with wrong people in school in order to evade being bullied. Instead, I'd show them a middle finger from the start. Overall I'd start to give no shit about what people think about me way earlier. In the same breath, I'd care about myself a lot more, instead of trying to please everybody at all costs.

Would just be making new mistakes, so no I wouldn't; it's better to enjoy what you have and move on.

If I could keep the memories I'd want and leave some out then..Yeah, I think so. Definitely, actually.

You would still make mistakes even if we did have the possibilities to do so. Yeah, I probably would do things differently.

Bruh, it would be a breeze then. If we keep our memories then that means we have our knowledge. School for the first 12 years would be a walk in the park. And so you'd learn shit you didn't easier, probably do the career you wanted too. You know which people to get close to and which not to. Correct mistakes, and use my time more wisely.
