No, my parents never did that so I don't think it's necessary.

Yeah, up until a certain age. Then u should be able use reason with them and find alternative forms of discipline.

U should never strike a child in anger though

Well i got beat by several things, hasnt happened in a long time but occasionally my dukes throw slippers and what not at my head...

Idk yet if i would but for sure if he did sosmthing that pissed me dafuq off, like scuff my jordans -_-

Depends on the situation. Sometimes pain is the only way kids learn. Regular discipline such as ; corner standing, timeouts, grounding dont teach lessons. The kid will 9 times out of 10 do the same thing knowing they'll be free in 15 minutes.

spanking/ass beatings teach respect, fear, and a lesson that if you dont want to feel it again, dont repeat the same shit.

Thats just my take on it. I've been beat and I came up right. Ny friends who haven't curse out their parents. Call them all kinds of names smh. Disrespectful

Dude in Asia they use leather belt to punish their children, in Japan they used ruler, in Philippines they beat them up I guess it depends

one shouldn't spank his/her children.But there are times when you can't reason or just punish them other way.
Discipline doesn't come form beating up your children

But getting spanked is a great way to learn reality.

But i would only do it if neccessary.

Yes spank them. You think grounding a child is going to change them they just end up doing it again. Give them a spank and know that this isn't a game anymore

But if you misbehaved, he could be very intimidating, in a sort of Hashirama-like fashion.

Everybody needs discipline but not physical punishment. I never received it, so I don't believe in it.

However, nothing works if it's not consistent.
