Would you read a manga with a gay main character?

Umm, what kind of manga? If its action then sure, its 2013 people should get over it anyways. As long as the whole manga doesn't revolve around how gay the guy is then its fine. I don't want to read a manga specifically about someone being gay, I feel like that would just turn into something really disrespectful to homosexuals

Depends on what the manga is about, really. If it's a genre I like and features a number of interesting characters, then I'd probably read it regardless of the main character's sexuality.

If, however, it's a romance manga or the entire story revolves around the gimmick of a gay main character, then no. Those sort of things don't interest me.

If it's a good manga I don't see why not. As long as it has action, comedy, drama, character creation and building, a good story and draws you in then I'm down.
-Its not like any of the mangas I read are R-rated. I don't see any of the heterosexual main characters having *** so why would I see any of the homosexual main characters doing it.
--Plus there wouldn't be much of a change, just a main character saying they have a crush on some other character of the same gender.
