My point exactly. There are quite a few serious themed comics with characters with shades of grey, just like manga. It'd be dumb to say that Mangas are better than comics. Just because you dont like comics as much as manga, doesn't mean that all manga are better by default.

Comics have less variety in themes, and this makes them generally inferior. It's not just an opinion because by what other criteria can you compare the two? More variety is more quality.

Manga by a western artist is a comic or a graphic novel.And f*ck weaboos,no manga to date can compete with masterpieces like Watchmen,From Hell,Maus,The Invisibles etc.

Maximum Ride is authored by a western guy, and there's another Manga out there made by some British guy, can't remember it's name.
