Dont forget Heni that Amaterasu is just being able to conjure the flames, whereas Enton (the technique Sasuke is performing) is the manipulation of said flames. That being the case id still go for Rasenshuriken, just because I've never been a fan of fire jutsu.

Amaterasu = Going blind unless supported by EMS and uncontrollable unless supported by Blase release.

Rasenshuriken = Will mess you up unless you have Sage mode or Kagebunshin to use in a suicide attack.

That depends lol are we talking as if there are no setbacks for either? If I’ve got EMS then sure, amaterasu. But if not and I can use rasenshuriken without hurting myself then rasenshuriken

Well you sort of do or you can use extra limbs from the chakra cloaks, it's only after Naruto gained RSM and comprehension of all things everything changed.

The flames never burn out unless you want them to, you can mold and shape it into things. While its not as strong as RS sure, im not even going to need all of that firepower in the real world, amaterasu would be plenty.

I could play amaterasu off like it wasnt even me, it just looks like a guy spontaneously combusts into black flame, whereas rasenshuriken im obviously holding a giant chakra whirlwind in my hand and chucking it, ill be labeled as a murderer.

Once Itachi died, the Amaterasu flames that he’d planted on the ground flew into the air and automatically targeted Orochimaru’s snakes.
