Not necessarily. Not every poor person is unhappy. Of course the same goes for rich folk. I see what you are saying though. It really comes down to the circumstances.

I could have started out rich and it brought me nothing but misery so I ditchee the rich life to live a simpler happy life.

Or started out poor and ugly won the lottery and now have the means to support a family or take care of loved ones bringing me real happiness.

I may have been raised poor but have enough to live a simple and comfortable life. Just depends.

I said nothing about eternal happiness just that I'd rather be happy than rich and unhappy. There are more unhappy and depressed rich people than happy rich people. honestly Lexie's answer suits me best. Neither. I would like to be me. For the sake of choosing one I chose 1. Nah I probably won't. What's the point of good looks when you have those things? Anyway, most people here got raised with different values on what happiness means.
