If there was a machine that could freeze your body for a thousand years, would you leave your loved ones behind in order to start a new life a millennium from now? Everyone you knew is long dead, the world is vastly different, new technology, world peace, the economy has been great for the last 500 years, there is utopia and earth is no longer our sole planet, you could travel to other planets like you travel to countries now, aliens have both immigrated and intergrated with humans. However, everything you knew is a distant memory, would you go for it?

Who said anything about world peace? It sounds like you've seen it, and come back. I want your time machine more than i want to be frozen.

Nah, because I would be alone in a workd of strangers. Maybe my descendants would still exist, but I personally wouldn't want to just show up in their life as some fossil.. Scratch that, I'm totally in. Where do I sign up?

Nope. I like now and the future is uncertain. I'm not Captain America. I'm just some guy. I'd be scared to death and lost.

This scenario involves us already knowing the future though. Normally, I would never. In this particular case,
I don't know, since I'd be so lost with changes in languages and innovations in technology. I would have
to explain myself as some time traveler as well. All in all, it's a lot of effort and quite frightening, not
to mention abandoning everyone I know would be horrible.

No. I'll stay in the world I was born for. Not interested in the overwhelming change of the future and coming from old age unable to grasp a thing about how stuff happens. If anything, travelling to the past would be my wish.

What if the future was not the one you imagined? What if it was a barren wasteland because of the global warming and pollution and stuff? I would rather live my current life than to go into a place where you know nothing about. You would just be like lower than a baby level of knowledge as you would be like "Hey! What is this over here?! Looks weird" and then other person might be like "That's a mobile phone......."... And moreover leaving behind loved ones? Nope, just nope.

I'm good where I'm at. It'd be awkward trying to find another girl/guy and it turns out to be your descendant. lol

I doubt humanity will even exist in a million years.
Even if it would exist, that life would be much more miserable that the one we're having, living in a building with artificial atmosphere & shitty food.
