If you protect someone i guess you can't really be called a "Animal" but even if you helped to save someone's life you killed a human being and you will always be the one who made an end to that persons life.

now another thing i want to say.

I asked my muslim friend once if your country is being attacked and people in it are getting killed is it allowed to attack that country back and kill the people in it?

He said yes if you are being attacked you have the right to protect your own country and it's people, so i guess it could be right to kill in some circumstances.
