Death would be necessary, especially if you're born both blind and deaf.

Most probably. I don't have that much trust in people.

No in my opinion, I would sure get the feeling of wanting to kill myself but I won't. Mainly because I despise suicide alot, I just don't see how not being anything is better than living with something and if it's lacking or it's simply bad. I would sure be sad and frustrated, but there gotta be at least 1 thing to live for.

It's at these kinds of times that I respect and admire people like helen keller.

That is a tougher situation that that space question, in my opinion.

Maybe one day, technology and science will overcome blindness and deafness.

Still, how would I even communicate with people? I wouldn't have a way of knowing who's around me except with touch. Damn, thinking about it makes me realize how fortunate I am...

How can you learn something if you're blind and deaf? You'd have to learn before losing your senses, no? Because I'm not gonna touch dots, and magically know what they mean without someone telling me, and they can't tell me if I'm blind AND deaf.

How do you learn to move your arms, or learn the meaning of words? It's instinctive.

Deaf-blind kids learn braille, to use computers and stuff because it's instinct, like anyone else. When you're starting school, nobody tells you "the" is a definite article or used with a superlative, because most 5-6 year olds would be dumbfounded; they learn by feeling it out in their mind. Deaf-blind kids learn in the same way, though it can take longer since it's not facilitated.

There's been plenty of teaching methods and the like for a few decades now. Plenty go on to get jobs and some even degrees.

That's f*cking awesome! I still can't grasp the idea of learning though, maybe for a child, since they learn quicker but for an adult, that shit has to be hard.
