Would you have let Orochimaru become Hokage?

Ok so the ultimate question is: Did Hiruzen make the right decision?

Obviously it was clear that Orochimaru wanted power, he still wants power, he's always wanted power. However, many believe that even though he may not have actually cared about much else apart from power, he still would have done what was needed for the Hidden Leaf. Do you agree with this? This may even be the main reason why he wanted to destroy the leaf (see

) and could have prevented Orochimaru from ever joining the Akatsuki and becoming evil. Although all of this is still debated.

So if you were Hiruzen would you have made Orochimaru Hokage?

it took a long time for dude to change.after he was sealed by sasuke brother he was forced to only watch the world through other people eyes,never being able to participate.he is practically immortal with knowledge beyond anyone else in the manga.the title hokage would be a understatement when we watched him revive all 5 after being defeated by madara,not to mention one being ripped in half.
