Many episodes this year has gotten the movie quality treatment. Not to mention we've gotten the backstory of kaguya and ashura & indra. It's been a good year compared to 2015. That was clearly the worst year for shippuden.
Would you guys say this has been one of the best year for naruto shippuden?

Yeah quite possibly the best.
455, Moonlit Night by Murata.
463, The No. 1 Most Unpredictable Ninja by Fujii Toshiro.
474, Congratulations by Emi Miyaji/Yuuri Ichinose/Anna Yamaguchi and directed by Murata.
476/477...Two episodes by Yamashita! Along with other amazing animators working with him.
478 by Tsuru and Tanaka beautifully done.
I doubt that there will be more great episodes. These were just enough.
Also, the new OSTs that are in this years episodes are amazing as well.
