Come on this question is so self-contradicting that it can't be answered.

An innocent person goes to hell and another person is asked whether or not he wants to be sacrificed in his place.

This thing happened in a movie (named "Constantine" with Keanu Reeves, quite cool movie actually) and after the protagonist sacrificed himself for the other person he got a second chance.

So in your scenario where this isn't an option, only a bastard that got a change of heart would sacrifice himself for the innocent one and that's why all the above answered no.

It kind of depends on the circumstances... like if someone is relying on you in life, and if the person you are sacrificing yourself for is someone you know and love. That being said, I would probably say yes and then regret it for the rest of eternity

I prefer the above stated. I imagined hell full of rape, burning of flesh and what not. So, it was pretty hard to make a decision xd

This is a very tough question. I would certainly not even consider it if it is for an unknown individual, no matter how innocent he or she is. But if it's for family then, burning in hell for eternity is impossible to imagine. I am willing to die for my mother and sister without thought, but that moment will come to pass, and I will be at peace.

This is almost impossible to answer. No matter which path anyone chooses, they'll feel nothing but endless regret.
