here's what i read in a Article by BBC World Service :

How are people able to forgive a crime like this?..."

Oh dude Forgiving a criminal is very very hard thing .....you soul and heart otomatically dont want it....but when teh mind says otherwise it's different story "Man can forgive".....

I think everyone deserves a second chance if they are genuinely remorseful themselves and are willing to redeem their actions any way they could. But that's the crux of it all isn't it? How do you know that they are?

But if you ask me what if he killed someone I loved? Obviously my answer would be more biased because I'd have a personal grievance attached to it. It'd be harder for me to say he can be forgiven through a clouded mind.

It depends on the circumstances. Did that person kill because of what? Self defense? Vengeance (the person who got killed hurt the person who killed somehow)? To protect himself? That killing would benefit me somehow? If yes to any of those, I wouldn't really be bothered by the crime, so I wouldn't need to forgive the person.

Other than that, I'd only forgive the murderer if that benefited me.

Well yeah...you could say that, but only then its forgiving, but i've seen on the news even when the person is trying to protect its self they are still going to jail , but with lower punishment, that doesnt make sense at all.... so what should i do? Let him kill me, so i would avoid jail? ...and trust me few times i wanted to break someone in half.... but i still kept my cool, im just not sure for how long...

The law can be very corrupt and unfair. And that also depends on the country too i guess. I can't recall wich country or countries but i know you could go to jail there for simply defending yourself, as stupid as it is and sounds. If you live there i don't know what to say. Just run away i guess xd

But your life wasn't in danger since you're still here. It would've been a crime if you did break someone in half so it's a good thing you were able to keep your cool.

Once it was, because i didnt know what was actually going on, but i thought they will kill me, also there is some kind of rule here if you tell someone a bad word or if you slap him you can be sued for that. :kk:

Killing someone who camed to kill him is ok. Killing someone who is gonna kill somebody else is ok. These cant be considered murder but goodness of certain people. But for people who are about to commit rape, then if someone takes a knife and pierces it in his private parts, it would be a no comment for me, the accuser deserves it.
