Scenario 1: No. It's only been a day so not hungry enough to go there yet. However I wouldn't throw it away. Scenario 2 is only 3 days away and I might need that human jerky down the road.

Scenario 2: Yes logic and inhibitions are forgotten in the wake of 4 days without food.

Scenario 3: No. world isn't ending and I am not starving.

It's good you stick to your convicitons but you are ignoring the scenario's circumstances. You are kind of almost left with 2 choices. Eat human or die of hunger. It's easy to say no when food is readily available and you're not starving, but you never know what you're capable of when placed in a situation such as this.

For all you know you may end up like Walking Dead's Gareth for example. He probably said the same thing you are saying now. But then the world came to an end, Hunger became a real issue and well, the rest is history.

I totally agree with you. If there is an alternative like growing crops and eating plants I would go down that road 1st. You don't need meat to survive. But if it's the only available source of food or the world is so gone you can't even grow food then yeah that human jerky would suddenly seem not so bad.

It's the Soylent Green movie setting in scenario 1. So no vegetables, no animals, no seafood. Everything is almost extinct.Only the rich get animals/food that are grown in closed envirement. It's processed human meat or nothing. The meat is made out of people that volontered, so you didn't kill anyone. Scenario 2 is just apocalypse.
