absolutely, I know a lot of people on here say theyd run away or whatever but let me say this, when one is put in a critical situation you'd be surprised at the courage we as humans have ingrained in our DNA. if it came down to a invasion the number one priority is the survival of the human population. if everyone ran and didn't fight back it would be an insult to thousands of generations of humans. if your country was invaded by a neighboring country a guarantee a few of you would be thinking differently about fighting.

yes 12months in 2009 in Iraq, and 9months in Afghanistan in 2013. both I disagreed with but I couldn't run from it and the guys around me were like my brothers. majority of us only cared about keeping each other safe we could care less about the big picture, because most soldiers aren't retarded we know we are over there fo dumb reasons, but someones gotta do it the Taliban did crash 4 of our planes and killed thousands of US citizens

Needless to say I wouldn't. The idea of being proud of my homeland, wanting to stick up for it when someone bad mouths it, or willing to fight in wars and possibly die in my country's conflicts when it has no relation to me is a concept that is completely lost on me.

Basically other than my ppl that live here and the fact that it is familiar I have no attachment to my homeland.

So what about u guys do u have any special connection for the land of your birth? Would u be willing to fight and die to defend it?

Maybe if my country changed a bit back to its glory days. But I would die for Russia if they took over Europe

I find nationalism pretty stupid, and many of the reasons why racism and military conflicts still exist. Nationalism divides people. I defend what I value, and my country is not one of them.
