Absolutely, the thought of me dying doesn't bother me in the slightest. Losing a loved one definitely does.

Plus, the profession I plan on going in to could potentially require me dying for a complete stranger, so me not doing so for a loved one would be awfully ****ed up.

I can't believe some people actually put no. U_U Of course I would; I would put my life on the line to save a random person. That's the difference between a regular person and a hero. A normal person would only save their loved ones at the risk of their own lives, if they'll do that even obviously . A hero will try and save anyone regardless.
