I hope to God I'm wrong, but could it be that is where Kishi is going with all this?

I mean, why else would Kaguya need an army? Why else use the term this world?

As if the story hadn't already strayed from the ninja-esque elements that made me fall in love with it, but this....this would be it for me......not even Sasuke could keep me reading it.

Also, is it me or would a Naruto-Sasuke battle feel a bit forced after all this? How does one go from fighting a god together and saving the universe to beefing over who'll be hokage or whatever ?!

Naruto has lost the true meaning and story it's manga the moment the Hashirama converted Sasuke and the whole sage deal/reoncarnation/propechy shit was brought in.

And seriously, and this goes to many other people on here, stop acting as if Naruto was originally some completely grounded and accurate semidocumentation about ninja style/art/life. The premise of the plot is that there is this kid who has a gigantic demon fox sealed inside him, and in the early parts of the story giant civilized toads and people shedding their bodies were introduced. Really.
