Would you choose the ninja life?

Well I am not a pro, but I am not weak. All people ever needs is a fighting chance. Geniuses can be beat. I mean Micheal Jordan lost a pick up game once to a non pro person. You seem like the one that would give up easily.

no i seem like the guy who already failed miserably like 3 times against pros ^^ i know my limits. you might win like in 1/100 matches but with your life on the line that isnt a good bet, is it?

@bold i only mentioned that so that you could understand what i mean. despite the fact i spent so much time and consider myself a talent in those things i still know im a fodder compared to world class people...

and about the other stuff, well i agree about what you said with the ninjas...if there were ninjas people would be different. but average would be average. that wouldnt change so much....

thats the typical human illusion of thinking youre special when youre not....everyone thinks he is above average. but that wouldnt work now would it?^^ and what makes you think that some1 who cant compete with world class now would be able to do it then?

None of these people can compete with professionals and athletes because they don't care about whatever martial art or sport they practice. They clearly aren't going to devote their time to something they dislike participating in. Now, if they really wanted to be a shinobi and put time and effort into it, they will be a good shinobi. Will they be on Naruto level? Unlikely, no. Will they be a good shinobi? It's possible. Now of course there's the possibility that they get Senju DNA, a curse Mark, a few tailed beasts and overpowered eyes. That'll definitely put them up there.

An average person is average because they choose to be average. Not because they have to be.

You would never know until you try right? I'd rather die knowing than be alive guessing. Once you start guessing your life is pretty much over. If there is a question, I am a person who wants to know it. It just might be that 1/100 try

you got some good points actually.... but you know what about the stuff people here like to do, and still arent above average at those? im just saying in order to be able to keeping up with the elite, you either need to be an elite yourself(genetics+hard training) or have a special weapon(curse seal, senju dna or whatever) but only like very few people in the whole NV actually have those... so its justified to say, that most people who claim they would be great ninjas would be fodder in the end.... there have to be average fodder ninjas in order for the geniouses to exist in the end...

thats true. but i consider 99%fail rate to be pretty clear^^ id rather chose a fighting life than one where you live in fear and complete dependance of others... but even if id rather chose that life i know i wouldnt stand a chance againts the elite. thats what im trying to say here. im not delusional.

It took me a while to find the one thing I'd be good at, and I went through a number of failures to master things I wanted to be good at. I mainly disagree with you because you're calling them fodder. Compared to the likes of Naruto and Kaguya; they are most definitely fodder. But, to be fair, that isn't what it takes to be a good shinobi. The top ten are basically gods. I don't realy count them as shinobi anymore.

No, you're not necessarily good at it, but you're different. You actually devote time and effort to try and improve yourself. Are you the best at what you do? No. It's fine though. You're clearly special and what you do is much better than someone talented, but incredibly lazy and doesn't even bother to use their talents.

You wouldn't know unless you are positive about it. I mean if I was say kakashi level (Without sharigan) and I am going up against EMS Sasuke, I am confident that I can take him to near or above his limits and possibly beat him. If you know your place and chose to say there than cool. But I'm not the type person that chooses to stay down a level because I'm not up there with the "Big boys" I want to work my ass off trying to get there and if I don't than so be it atleast i tried.

Ah, I don't think it's possible to be the best with a job like mine, or many other things for that matter. You are the strongest person if you can literally beat everyone else in a fight, but in many cases it depends on subjective views from others. I mean, I have my clients to whom I am actually the best U_U

There are different ways to be "the best" among ninjas as well. Heck, Danzo said Fu and Torune were the best in Root, even though they are fodder compared to most characters. Supposedly they had some other kind of skills that made them especially useful. Like I said in my above post, I might have been able to master some non-fighting ninja skill and be good in that field.

Sometimes it just takes a long while to figure out your own natural aptitude though. And it's not like everyone has to be a planet buster to be a good ninja... They do other stuff, too.
