No I wouldn't. The core of any relationship is trust. And by cheating on your BF/GF, or sleeping with a friends partner, you are simply ruining the trust in the relationships with all the parties involved. Now, even if no one would ever find out, I still wouldn't do it. The reason being that I wouldn't be able to trust myself , and that's simply terrible. There is no point in cheating-nothing good would ever come out of it.

I still wouldn't. Imagine your girlfriend was getting on Brad Pitt's **** or something. How would you feel?
I would feel like complete and utter shit and lose myself forever. I also would not cheat on my current girlfriend no matter who the girl offered is, but that's because I truly love her and would die for her if needed.

However, I have cheated on previous girlfriends. I'm not proud of it, and it wasn't something I planned. With my second girlfriend, our fights were horrific. She'd call me worthless trash and wish I would die and stuff for ridiculous reasons, so I would stormed off to my friend's house who was having a party. Met a girl there, we both got a little drunk, and it happened. I didn't love that girl, but I still felt bad after. Not that much though.

But, like I said, I wouldn't dream of doing that to my current girlfriend.

People who cheat are pathetic. If you're no longer attracted to someone, leave, it's that simple.
That's quite an oversimplification. Same could be said of a lot of things, but reality is, people cheat. Just like people murder, steal, and lie, people will cheat. Their reasons are their own, but that doesn't change the facts of the matter. Human behavior is complicated like that.

You know the world has become absolutely disgusting and overrun with pigs when people with some decency are called liars, branded as moral compasses as though that's an insult, and people who admit that they'd do something deplorable are congratulated, and put in high regard like this.

¨Ugh look at these people choosing not to betray their significant other, choosing to do what's right. Oh wait, FINALLY there are some pieces of shit talking! Thank God not EVERYONE is a decent human being, can't have that.¨

But it makes sense. A pig never feels bad for rolling around in mud because he has other pigs with him.
They are the type of people that are selfish and dont care about others.

I may have opinionated morals like most people but I'm also aware that they come from me and my experiences in life as well as the mistakes made by others.
There is a right a wrong way to do things, and to me, that is determined by how well our choices can coexist with other people.

If your choices benefit you and others, that's good.
If it benefits you but hurts others, that's selfish, and nobody wants trash like that in their life.

I agree with you.

Oversimplicated? Please. Why be with someone you have no attraction to, mentaly, or physically? There's no point in continuing relations if that spark isn't there, so it'd be best to just leave. Like I stated before, people who cheat are trashy as **** and in all honesty, they don't deserve an honest relationship, ever.

On the serious note, only if our relationship isn't serious...you know casual and stuff. As much as I want a nice guy, deep down in our sweet hearts we crave for *** more than anything in the world. ;) ;) ;)

That is a very mature example of why someone would cheat. Sometimes ending a relationship isn't as easy as just leaving. You were in a bad spot and you gave in to a moment of weakness. It's one thing to do that and another to cheat on your wife and mother of your children by having *** with a different woman in your marital bed

And that's supposed to make it okay?

There are instances where someone may need to steal, such as a homeless child stealing some bread so they don't starve.
There are instances where someone may need to murder, self-defense against someone trying to murder them or someone else.
There are instances where someone may need to lie, such as lying about their whereabouts to avoid a potential attacker.

There are no scenarios where cheating is a necessity, cheating is ALWAYS wrong. Even if your partner treats you like a piece of shit, if you cheat, then you're just as bad as them. If you want to sleep with other people, end the relationship. Otherwise, you're breaking a sanctified commitment, and you deserve to feel horrible about it because it's a horrible thing.

Because anybody can talk a big game, but I know well over half of you would do it. Over 50% of marriages fail every day and they all took vows in front of the good Lord himself to stick it out, no matter WHAT, forever and ever more. I don't know what fantasy world you're living in, but those rules simply apply based on objective foresight.

If Victoria Justice or Jessica Alba rolled through in a bikini looking for somebody to show them a good time, who are most people gonna choose, especially on a guarantee of never being caught? Their wife of 15 years who they've been sick of for years or some fresh new tail for a legendary night?

Maybe you'd abstain. Doesn't mean everybody else who promises to will, as the data clearly says otherwise. I'm just gauging the honesty.

Not even going to deny the temptation would be there, but even if we assume the cheating is because of said issues, then what would be the point in continuing? You cheat, and then likely the best option would be to dump whoever you were with. You see, the moral compass comes from cheating and then staying with this person every bit as it comes from allowing temptation to take over you.

Quite frankly, I would not do it. Not in a million years. And I'm not being some gallant hero either, nor am I condemning the ones that would cave. I just could never really look at myself properly afterwards.

Some of you... really don't have high standards for yourselves. One night of fun for the rest of your life knowing you could not even say no to something so basic? You're accepting your primal urges and letting them guide you. You're succumbing to inferiority.
Not everybody has that level of self-respect or respect for their chosen partner. Hence why cheating and affairs are such a high factor for divorce and what not.

People with morals have been brainwashed into thinking that doing one thing (in this case, cheating) is wrong, plain and simple. And it's not even debatable.

It's all about upbringing. Most of you were molded to categorize things as right and wrong like slaves. Me? I was raised with freedom of thought and wasn't ideologically restricted as a child.

Getting mad because of this is silly. You can't help that you were raised to be a slave of your predecessors' ideals and convictions.

Mature isn't close to the right word. If anything, his situation shows these things about him at the time:

1. Lack of worth in his word-He broke the unspoken promise of commitment and devotion to your partner in a relationship, his integrity was compromised

2. Poor judgement and decision making skills-Staying in a relationship with someone who wasn't good to him and made him feel that way, as well as getting drunk and having *** with a stranger

3. Selfishness-He completely disregarded the feelings, wants and needs of his partner, letting his own desires and wants overtake him and lead him to doing something that would hurt them, based on irrational and brief, intense emotion.

If it wasn't for remorse, they'd be nothing redeemable about what happened with him.

It is the year 2014. Morality is a constraint upon the great

I see your point, but by that logic, all morals are bad.

Which means you don't have any, unless your a hypocrite.

Which means if someone was to say, kill your parents etc., you have no right to be upset because it is a common moral to love family.

This means you have to live a completely neutral life void of any bias or opinion because opinions are practically synonymous with morals.

Unless that is, you want a world where everyone does what they want to whenever they want

Everyone has morals, they may not be black and white or super simple, but don't think that morals are brainwashed into people (like most religions)

I taught my self right from wrong, no one else did.

You're asking the wrong guy, I don't have those answers. The thought of cheating on my lover makes me sick to my stomach.

But it happens to millions of people across the world every day. The sensible thing may be to leave, but it's also not sensible to go on killing sprees, shoot up movie theaters and schools, throw acid on people's faces, sell people into slavery, but all that kind of shit happens. If a question of it not being "sensible" was the only thing inhibiting these people, then we wouldn't have these problems, would we?

You probably think you're like Orochimaru, huh? Saying that morals are for the weak. Well, like I said before, we'd probably have sh*tty lives without morals right now. Man, you must be so enlightened.
