No, I hate cheaters. Why be with someone only to cheat on them?
Unfulfilling relationship, sexual incompatibility, loss of attraction, any other number of reasons cheaters have used.

Lot of moral compasses on NB apparently. I call bullshit on most of you. If Scarlet Johanson popped a tit in your mouth and promised not to tell your girl, you'd refuse? I know not ALL of you are that strong.

I would probably hurt myself before i would betray someone I care about. Even if they'd never know the guilt would kill me.

A liar.

OT: Of course. You don't have to feel bad, because there's no risk of being caught. People don't actually feel bad about their actions unless they get caught

what a perplexing little argument this is. you're implying feeling bad only comes from the fear of being caught rather than betraying the person you're with.

in all honesty, it's incredulously immature of the both you to surmise that this is the only way about it. it's selfish, and granted there's nothing inherently wrong with admitting you would, but don't speak for others on the subject.

OT: No. I would not. Not out of fear of being caught, but rather I hold myself to as high a standard as I can. If the contract I am given with said partner dictates exclusivity, then until I end the relationship, I will abide by that.

Now many people are only there to look out for themselves, and that's fine and dandy, but it's fairly pathetic to assume the only reason you won't do something is for fear of being caught. That puts you under the power of someone else rather than yourself, and even as you act in self interest you are ironically adhering to some false notion that your livelihood is dependent on not being found out.

Laughable no matter how you look at it.

You are the worst type of trash.

I wouldn't cheat to save my life.

I agree, his way of thinking is pretty low. I would, however, cheat to save my life. I think my significant other would rather I live and have cheated then died having stayed faithful. I would expect the same of her as well.

I'd rather the pigs speak for themselves. I wouldn't because it would be a stain on something special to me. If I'm in a relationship, it's with someone important to me, I'm not into that casual stuff. To betray someone important to me, who trusts me, would make me a piece of shit. You should feel bad because you're a piece of shit if you do it.

What does a curse mark have to do with cheating?

One time in high school I kissed another girl while I was currently dating a different girl. That is the closest thing to cheating I have ever been guilty of. In my adult life I have been cheated on and it feels terrible. I would never sleep with another woman if I am currently in a serious relationship. More than that, I would never hook up with a friends girl. That, to me, is potentially worse than cheating.

It is wrong whether they find out or not.

Seriously though, I don't understand why curse marks are included in this hypothetical.
Curse Mark would be the method used to prevent the party with whom you cheated telling your act to your significant other. It was either that or Deadshot snipes them down. I flipped a coin.

I cheated on my second girlfriend, didn't feel bad at all. Would not cheat on my current girlfriend though no matter who it is.

I also went to Vegas when I turned 21. Best place to get drunk, if you have a lot of money. So many women. Obviously he wouldn't tell her now. That would ruin her. Women are vengeful. She would never fully leave him alone after that. He made the right call not telling. Self preservation and such
Exactly. I was just using that as example because of that whole "cheaters only feel bad when caught" excuse. That's not the case, some people feel genuine remorse. Not that it necessarily makes it excusable, that's up to the party who was cheated on.
Yes without thinking twice.

Finally some honesty around here. Apparently everybody here is a moral beacon but you and Vapid, lmao.

I still wouldn't. Imagine your girlfriend was getting on Brad Pitt's **** or something. How would you feel?

People who cheat are pathetic. If you're no longer attracted to someone, leave, it's that simple.

You know the world has become absolutely disgusting and overrun with pigs when people with some decency are called liars, branded as moral compasses as though that's an insult, and people who admit that they'd do something deplorable are congratulated, and put in high regard like this.

¨Ugh look at these people choosing not to betray their significant other, choosing to do what's right. Oh wait, FINALLY there are some pieces of shit talking! Thank God not EVERYONE is a decent human being, can't have that.¨

But it makes sense. A pig never feels bad for rolling around in mud because he has other pigs with him.

Not even going to deny the temptation would be there, but even if we assume the cheating is because of said issues, then what would be the point in continuing? You cheat, and then likely the best option would be to dump whoever you were with. You see, the moral compass comes from cheating and then staying with this person every bit as it comes from allowing temptation to take over you.

Quite frankly, I would not do it. Not in a million years. And I'm not being some gallant hero either, nor am I condemning the ones that would cave. I just could never really look at myself properly afterwards.

Some of you... really don't have high standards for yourselves. One night of fun for the rest of your life knowing you could not even say no to something so basic? You're accepting your primal urges and letting them guide you. You're succumbing to inferiority.

that last bit isn't directed at you, but rather the likes of yowyan.

Pretty much this. There's literally no point in cheating in my opinion, it's stupid, selfish, pathetic and trashy as ****.
