First of all, thank you.
Second, now really, think about it how much we all hated Pein for bringing so much suffer, especially when he killed J-man, but then, when we heard his story, we changed our minds.
And I talk on plural because I am sure that it's not only my opinion.
What if Tobi is the same, not a lunatic driven by hatred?
But if he's not, if he's just a lunatic, well when he dies, I don't think I will be feeling pity towards him.

And to think on the other side, if Tobi hadn't done what he did, Naruto wouldn't be the person he is today.

And I hated that he was right, but he had damn good reasons and relevant proofs of what he was talking.

yeah i know right , thats what annoyed me and then i saw the back story, and was depressed for a while feeling bad for hating him when he was still alive and then realising he was my favourite character and not been able to enjoy his presence while he was still alive now only getting to see a picture of him in the manga if someone refers to him thats why i like tobi now cause i know he'll end up being my favourite character in the future when i hear his back story , but by that time he'll probably be dying and it'll be too late lol
all i have now is horrible longing for nagato to somehow come back even though he is sealed, thats what will happen with tobi , it'll suck when he's gone and everyone will be sad, haters too

OT : He shouldn't die, he has the same dream as Naruto ( peace ), he just tried to achieve it differently, whether it was the right way or the wrong way we judge that, in real life his plan is the only thing that can work, there isn't a person in RL like Naruto. But there are many Like Tobi, Pain, Madara... those who we say are bad/evil are the good guys in our world.
