Immortality would be the most awesome thing ever. I think I want it for unselfish reasons though, so I'm not sure :/

No, 5 years in prison I would lose my mind. Can't sit still for that long!

Question 1, if you were offered life everlasting (Immortality) with no decrepitude (No Aging, Weakening or sickness) at the price of never being able to speak to your loved ones again, would you take? Or would you decline?

Question 2, would you serve 5 years in a maximum security prison if you were guaranteed a payment of 100 million dollars the second your released?

I need your responses for my creative writing assignment.

Question 1: Yes; there is so much more to life than the mundane cage we're forced to live in.
Question:2:Yes; patience and philosophical enlightenment can be achieved in such isolation.

1. No I wouldn't want to live forever. That's a curse.

2. No because I would go crazy in 5 years and not have the sanity to enjoy the money.

1. Nope.
2. As long as I don't have to 'pick up the soap', I would do it.

Who cares about patience and philosophical enlightenment when you have the risk about getting booty violated.

And who cares about patience and philosophical enlightenment when you're about to turn into a multi millionaire.

Immortality any day. I will be able to achieve unlimited number of things. And, I can achieve friendship overtime, so losing a former love would only upset me temporarily.

I'd choose immortality out of curiosity, to see how things change and the world evolves.
Besides I can't die because of old age or disease, but what about severe body damage, decapatation, loss of blood, lack of nutrition or oxygen deprivation?
I think it is safe to assume that I can die due to the listed causes.
So in other words, if I get sick of my immortality I'd attempt "suicide", quite a contradiction there I know but I hope you get my point.

Also who would grant me immortality and what if I were to break his/her rule of not talking to my loved ones, would they die, would I die, what would happen?

Option Number two, I wonder why anyone would waste five precious years of their limited life for such a small amount of money?
I wouldn't and if I were immortal I still wouldn't consider it, not to mention I would have all the time I need to earn such an amount or more, without seeling my freedom for five years.

Number two is therefore a no go to me.

He; valid points indeed.

Clearly your view of the world is still finite; material objects actually have little value - to truly be able to comprehend this, you've to be in such conditions as mentioned before, although conversely you're better of not seeking philosophical enlightenment, only depression seems to be the result.
