They are both primates, same suborder. Monkey's have tails, apes do not.

This is where it becomes interesting. He looks like an ape, chimp, or gorilla, BUT IT IS THE 4-TAILS.... LOL... so technically he IS a monkey.

thats not were i was going with this lol i just wanted to know if The sages we already know of like the snake/dragon sage and the toad sage could they have chakra like a bijuu could they be sealed inside a host.
