For Kishi to develop any more power-ups?

Like Naruto's SM?

Or, if Naruto get's uber powerful, for Sasuke to catch up in order for their final fight? That's if Kishi wants it to be a close fight.

I ask because there was a thread that pointed out all the things that Kishi still needs to straighten out. Turns out there's actually a buttload.

Anyway, what do you poeple think?

It's kishi he'll just mumble everything up, and leave it to the readers discretion.

I think the time for development is gone. In other to develop SM, naruto would have to get stronger in his base form, or at least create powerful senjutsu based atacks(other than rasengans). I really doubt he will have time for that in the middle of the fight.

Naruto's next power up might be some pseudo jinchuriki thing, or maybe the other half, maybe both, Idk.
Sasuke's next possible powerup, if he is going to get one, will be either the elder son's eyes or the rinnegan.

I can't see anything else happening, but I'm not kishi.

Could you link me to that thread? I was actually thinking about this last night and there are quite a few things pertaining to naruto that kishi hasn't yet played out. It's hard to say really, I doubt there is time for a training arc or anything but I can't see how kishi wouldn't develop SM or naruto in general. But then again 2 chapters ago madara popped an eye and was g2g so maybe something will just 'happen'.

Yeah that's sort of why I think Naruto will just get whatever power the bijuu's have in store for him. That and I find it hard to believe that he'll get Minato's half of Kurama right after he got his half extracted (if he did). There is still that gift though.

Indeed. I thought that the gift was going to be the other half, but now I'm not sure. Madara can easily take it out again. I really want to see some new thing, and the pseudo jin idea seems nice.

Yeah, it might some new sealing technique or might actually be his half and Kishi just made up some new way for Kurama to be sealed. But then there's Madara, as you said. Maybe he might get that half to get Kurama's chakra and complete whatever the Bijuu are trying to do since he might not have any of Kurama's chakra left.

Would be pretty sick if Orochimaru ended up possessing Naruto (instead of Sasuke) now that Kurama is out of him, then using his Uzumaki studies to use seals that Naruto himself had no clue about, revealing his untapped potential.
