Would Sasuke be useless without Itachi's help?

Before I go on with this thread I'll ask a question first. How does one get Amaturasu and Tsukayomi?

When Itachi and Sasuke were at the peak of there limits. Itachi transfer his own Ocular Jutsu to Sasuke. And died in his eyes to awaken his MS.

Did he really transfer his powers to Sasuke? If that's the case Sasuke would not have the same powers as Itachi and more or less than a normal MS Shinobi with eyes that will forever see the light. Itachi was a prodigy, thus wanting to make Sasuke a hero so he can bestow him a power. Sounds right?

All itachi did was place Amaterasu in him to use on Tobi, sasuke gained his own mangekyo when he found out the truth about itachi. It is stated that to awaken the mangekyo, you must witness the death of someone close to you.

...he technically awoke his MS when he found out the truth of Itachi's sacrifice, not because Itachi "gave" him MS.

No, If itachi didn't exist sasuke would still have all his jutsu including ems because in the ninja world ppl die and i can see that whole obito and kakashi story with sasuke and his friend, so auto ms plus ems susanoo comes with ms and amaterasu, so no without plot no justu his story and life hood is still better.

Im sure Itachi only put in an Amaterasu Trap and that's it either way Itachi owed him Jutsu anyway he took away his Curse Mark and replaced and yes he would be weaker just like every single other character if you take away there borrowed / stolen powers.

Its only unclear wat his actual ms move(s) would be. He still had the capabilities to unlock susanoo, he awakened his ms after learning the truth about itachi, and he would still get ems. So sasuke is far from being some random fodder ninja.

In order to gain Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, the closest sibling's eyes is required to be transplanted in the receiver's eye sockets. Itachi was dead, Sasuke clearly stated that he wants Itachi's eyes to gain EMS.
