No, because that would go against his indra strength of getting stronger by being solo. Besides if he stayed in the village he'd accomplish itachi's plan for him and he wouldn't know half the things he knows now.

no Naruto went with Jiraiya inorder to train also with killer bee inorder to take complete control on the Kyuubis chakra.
